"This hotel is incredibly great! We loved staying here. The facilities, staff, room and the service is incredible.
Only thing we think could improve is the massage services can always be better, and have more diverse offerings with varied therapist that are more confident.
The other thing was that the room service was always great but even tho there was moments we didn’t want anybody in the room they still came in to clean up…
Overall it was amazing!!!"

A bit of a climb or a few euro taxi journey from Penafiel's town centre, the Park provides very comfortable rooms – with bathtubs, WiFi and smart furnishings. Staff extremely friendly but a little slow – took them ages to look for (and not find) a map of Penafiel, explain things, etc. Spa consisted of two saunas, dry and wet, both quite large, and a nice-sized jacuzzi. Pool out of commission as there was an exercise class going on – no-one at reception said. Breakfast a spread of nice breads,...

This is the nicest European hotel we have ever stayed in. The building is fabulous, really nicely converted with lots of thoughtful design choices. The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, nice big fluffy towels. Great indoor spa facilities (we had a brilliant couples massage) and the outdoor pool is the perfect place to swim and relax with a cocktail. There are loads of nice places to sit and relax inside and outside. Staying here feels as comfortable as being at home. The breakfast is...

A beautiful stay. The hotel feels luxurious and the staff are very friendly and fix issues very quickly (we had a broken key door and the room was immediately exchanged!) It is walking distance from the city centre and on a quiet road. I could not recommend highly enough!

This place was simply superb.
That started with one of the hosts, Ana, organising a taxi to pick us up from the airport and bringing us to the guest house. Her instructions how to get in and find our key were great.
The room was really lovely and slightly quirky with the bare stone wall and bed at a slight angle. The bathroom was large. Everything was really comfortable and clean.
The location is great. You are not too far from anything, and Porto is a walk about city, so nothing is that far.

Absolutely loved it from the start of my stay. Alberto was a lovely man who was exceptionally gracious, friendly and helpful.
Personal touches like little chocolates left on the bed to luxurious towels and bathrobe. Nothing was too much trouble for Alberto or the housekeeper Susanna. The distance from the centre was quite a way but not a problem for me but may be for someone with mobility issues. Would love to visit again.

We stayed in the apartment block, room 4 at the rear—really quiet, which was ideal. Situated between Sao Bento and the riverside, it's the perfect place to explore this great city.

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful few days in Porto and our stay at the Editory Garden hotel was also wonderful. The hotel is located in a quiet area and is very clean, the beds comfortable, and the breakfasts with local homemade bakes were excellent. We found all the staff to be pleasant and helpful but a special mention to Jessica ( I think that was her name) for her help and advice when checking us in. We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending the Editory Garden Hotel to...
