Brenda is a very gracious host and takes extra care to make the stay special. This is a very peaceful setting and if you're biking it is very close to the Pumpkinvine trail. We hope to return

Everything was amazing!! Very clean! Very welcoming! Great communication! The donkeys were the best! We will be back.

Fantastic house! Easy access, clean, comfortable beds, kitchen was very user friendly - even used the BBQ grill! Neighboring farm animals were a fun bonus! Host was kind, very responsive. Would highly recommend this host and this house!

Lovely Lemon Hill Stay

Wonderful place to stay halfway between us and our daughter’s family. We all enjoyed interacting with the animals plus driving into Shipshiwana for a day. Home was great and Brenda was a kind and thoughtful host who communicated well with us.

Fall Getaway

This was the perfect place to relax after our daughter’s wedding week! The home was clean and inviting and had so many extras to make our stay comfortable. We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch and interacting with the sweet donkey on property.

Father's Day Weekend getaway

We enjoyed a quiet Father's Day Weekend family getaway in this lovely home! We enjoyed the quaint decor and comfy house with quiet country surroundings. All amenities were thought of and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We would suggest adding a non-slip bath mat to the shower for extra safety, but couldn't ask for a more relaxing stay.

We came to this house for an over night stay with a girls trip to Shipshewana. It was clean, cute, and many memories were made. The area was quiet and the house had a great home feel to it. Thanks for a great stay!!

Our stay at Lemon Hill was exactly what we needed—a peaceful retreat from the busyness of life. Surrounded by blooming lilac bushes and the gentle sounds of farm animals, we felt instantly at ease. Mornings were a dream—sipping coffee on the porch wrapped in handmade quilts, watching the countryside come to life. The Pumpkinvine Trail was a highlight—perfect for walking and simply soaking in the serene views. Every detail of the stay felt thoughtfully simple and refreshingly calm. It was the perfect place to catch our breath and reset.

Fantastic!

A group of 5 of us plus children stayed here. The place was perfection. Everyone loved it!! My mother in law kept saying how “CUTE!!” it was. It had everything and more. The town also is a really great spot to have family adventures.Brenda was extremely available and so great to interact with. She has hospitality mastered!I highly recommend this place!

AMISH SERENITY

This was a fantastic stay. The scenery is gorgeous and the peace and quiet is just what we needed. The house was very clean and every convenience was thought of. The beds were super comfy. The decor was stunning. We enjoyed our time on the porch watching the Amish buggies go by and visiting with the on site horses and donkeys. Our hosts were wonderful. We were greeted with fresh baked cookies and they checked in half way through our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for more. We are already planning our return for next summer. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The Perfect Stay

This was exactly what we wanted. Beautiful house. In the heart of Indiana Amish Country. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing stay. Loved waking up in the morning with a hot coffee on the porch swing watching the Amish horse and buggies go by. Loved watching the sunrise at the pasture fence with the livestock. Property was very clean and pleasant. The hosts were incredibly friendly. We are a family of 8 and we were very comfortable in the house. The whole family had a great time and are already asking to go back to this house. We were really blessed by the hosts and their property!

Absolutely amazing!

I recently stayed at Lemon Hill with my family, and it was an incredible experience. This charming home, with its authentic Amish-themed decor and furnishings, provided a unique and immersive getaway. One of the best parts was sitting on the front porch swing, watching the Amish buggies go by and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We were greeted with delicious coconut chocolate chip cookies, which were amazing and added a special touch to our stay. The location is very convenient, with several towns and attractions nearby. We stayed at the house after doing the five-star Buggy Lane Tours in Shipshewana and dining with an Amish family, which was unforgettable. The outdoor fire pit and seating area were great for evening relaxation, and they even included the firewood! My son and daughter loved interacting with the white donkey and horses, which was a highlight for them. The house was equipped with electricity and had games and toys for children, which kept my kids entertained throughout our stay. Additionally, they provided coffee, which was a wonderful touch to start our morning! The host had amazing communication and even helped us out when we accidentally left our kids' clothing in the dryer. This level of care and attention was over the top. If you’re looking for a place to relax and unwind, Lemon Hill is perfect. The attention to detail and serene environment made our stay truly special. I highly recommend this charming property!

After a small delay in getting our door code, we did receive it via text from the host, apologetic about the delay and quite kind about it, even left a sweet gift for us that we found the next morning. Very sweet country home, comfortable for the night, and the goats and donkeys enjoyed a bag of carrots for breakfast before we left! We would stay again! Thank you for your kind hospitality!

My sisters and I were extremely happy with our stay. House was clean, kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfy. There was even a dozen eggs in the frig! We enjoyed feeding the donkeys and goats (Letty and Snow White). Host always quickly responded to our questions. She arranged a buggy ride with her Amish neighbor, Sharon who was very open to answering our questions. We had a blast!
