"Our stay at EBENDE VILLA was very comfortable, safe and quiet beautiful! The grounds are very well kept and the house and amenities are as advertised. The staff are very helpful and the property manager will go above and beyond to make sure your needs are met. The property is very far out however, and the roads are very poor and remote to say the least. They will set up transportation for you but keep in mind travel time from the Villa when setting up your excursions."

"Great location, just in front of a gorgeous beach!! Big and confortable house with great comunication with owner and fantastic house keeping staff! Nice beds all with mosquito nets, very nice terraze and fantastic access to a fabulous beach!! No wifi, no AC, but we didn´t need the AC, it has blade fans in all rooms and in the house, wich worked real well!"

"Some travelers forget they are visiting a foreign country and overlook local conditions, policies, & environment. Many common complaints can be avoided by reading details planning ahead, and communicating clearly. I believe in forming my own experience —and I’m so glad I did. My experience was a 10,000/10\. The staff and service were exceptional from start to finish. Everyone was professional, patient, and made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. Juma, the Front Office Manager, arranged my round-trip airport transfer with Emanuel who shared local history along the way. Juma clearly explained my package and handled a small misunderstanding on my end with patience and helpful solutions. Consolata, the receptionist, welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home immediately. I arrived early, and she personally showed me around the property while sharing its history, which I truly appreciated. Ramso, my butler, was outstanding—attentive, calm, and genuinely caring. When I had a room issue (my mistake), he went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, moving me to a room that exceeded expectations. I would absolutely request him again! Chef Mohammed delivered excellent meals from breakfast to dinner. The food was fresh, authentic, healthy, and flavorful, and his passion truly shows. Overall, I loved the scenery, privacy, cleanliness, safety, and peaceful atmosphere. Fruit & Spice is perfect for relaxation and exceptional service. I highly recommend this resort. — LissaKayy "

"I had a wonderful stay at Ycona Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff attended to our every need and made us feel truly cared for. The manager, Claudia, along with Omar, were especially outstanding—both were incredibly helpful in facilitating all of our plans and were always flexible and accommodating. They even helped arrange romantic activities on-site, which made our stay extra special. The villas were spotless and cleaned daily, which added greatly to our comfort. This ended up being one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Zanzibar. Anything that wasn’t readily available at the resort was seamlessly arranged by bringing someone in from town, making it feel like there was almost no need to leave the property at all. An unforgettable experience from start to finish."

"Good standard of cleanliness in rooms, beds turned down every night, as well as spraying with repellant every evening. All team were super friendly, especially Joyce, Generozza, Happiness- all first class. Pascal-head chef, always wanted feedback to ensure all food met expectations- which was varied, fr3sh and really tasty. Would highly recommend and would certainly think about coming back."
