Located at 5225 Collins Avenue in the South of Mid Beach directly on the beach this location is recognized for its intimacy, charm, and direct access to the beach. It is the perfect spot for singles or families, is safe and friendly. We are less than 3 miles to the center of South Beach. Local activities include delicious eateries, fine dining, tourist attractions and night life. The beach and boardwalk are just steps away from our pool area where we have two heated pools and hot tubs. HORA VACATION RENTALS manages many of the finest units at the Alexander. Apartment 718 at The Alexander (7th floor) is a large 1200 sq ft BRAND NEW beautifully furnished and decorated (in March 2015) 3 to converted 4 bedrooms, 3 bathroom signature apartment with both intracoastal and ocean views. 2 queen beds, 3 adult single twin beds, and a sofa which converts to full size bed and additional rollaway for added sleeping. Includes a 20-ft balcony, full kitchen with side by side refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, granite counter and double bowl sink, washer/dryer, dining area seats 8, living room and den which converts to a 4th bonus sleeping area. 5 HDTV TV's, cable channels and Wi-Fi. The master bedroom has been divided into two separate smaller rooms. Both of those rooms have queen beds and has its own private bathroom and area for hanging clothes while the second room has queen bed and windows with its own bathroom in the hallway. Extra guests: Standard rate includes sleeping up to 7 guests, additional guest is $35 per night up to maximum of 9 guests. Our resort has some of the finest amenities along Miami Beach, so you feel like royalty during your stay. The good things were that it was near the beach. The downsides were that we happen to have a freezing week and there was no heating in the building so we were all cold. The loungeroom was not set up for sitting together well...needs more lounges in a configuration suitable for talking and seeing the TV. We ended up sitting at kitchen table to see TV together. The rooms are sooo small and one has only a window to the next room. The bed was broken in one of the rooms and metal rods stuck out and grazed our legs. They were fast to fix it but it took hours and we had to wait around and then they had to get a new bed. It was not in a great part of Miami. The rental people are quick to respond to messages. ##### Kim M. I stayed here with 7 other women. Having 3 bathrooms was amazingly handy! The balcony and view were fantastic. Well stocked with lotion/shampoo/make-up wipes and more! One improvement that's needed is an upgrade to the router. Other than the bedroom it's located in you can't use Wifi anyplace else. The adult only pool is not open going into 2022 and the other one is small with out much space around it. Trash around the pool also wasn't picked up regularly. Cabana's seen in pictures really don't exist. They are all closed and have old furniture laying outside. Pool Area in general in need of major rehab. Work out area as well very out of date with poor ventilation and no AC working. All else in description was accurate enough. Impressed with owners quick response to questions. Kitchen well stocked with good coffee maker filters starter packs etc. Convenient on site store for basic services. ##### bob d. This property was FABULOUS. It is well appointed, very clean, and lots of room for everyone. The location is wonderful. The beach is nice and less crowded, but yet it’s only a short Uber to the South Beach area. The staff is very friendly and provides great service. This property was amazing. It was large enough for 6 adult men to sleep and relax. Beach was beautiful as was the only open pool. Second pool was closed for renovations and we weren’t allowed to use the private cabana that came with the rental unit. Wonderful time. ##### Seth S. Good food options nearby and a short walk downstairs to the beach. The host was more than accommodating and responded quickly. The staff at The Alexander was very accommodating. The bedroom with the 3 single beds was set up differently... This unit sleeps 7 PLUS there was a cot PLUS there was a futon. One person slept on it, I'm not sure if it was designed for more than one adult? I needed a pillow and blanket for the futon... The service was pretty quick, once I was able to get a hold of someone. All -in-all... 5 Star stay, I definitely recommend this unit...Thank You! ##### Stacey S. Clean when we arrived and fairly easy check-in process. The only complaints from the group were that the WiFi needed an extender or something because it did not reach the entirety of the rental.
