My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights on our visit to Biscayne and Everglades National Parks. It was the perfect location, only 20 minutes from Biscayne and 45 min to Everglades. The beds were comfortable, the living room was cute and cozy and the house had everything we needed. Would recommend!
Perfectly situated for exploring the Everglades, Keys, and Spice Garden. The house is comfortably furnished, well provisioned, and set in an exquisite grove of tropical palm, fruit, and nut trees. We were fortunate to see the palms blooming during our visit!
Nearby, we found great restaurants, and Publix and Wal-Mart stores for groceries. Our host suggested that we check out "Snapper's" on Key Largo. We had a delightful evening watching a dolphin frolic as we enjoyed dinner!
Staying here was a great experience, and we'd like to come back. Thank you, Manuel, for your hospitality!
The house is exactly as pictured. It is beautiful and well maintained. I wish I could give this property a higher rating, but my husband and I got very little sleep here as the location is very, very noisy. I had assumed an agricultural area would be quiet, but this couldn't have been farther from the reality. The street outside is very busy. The posted speed limit is high, 50 or 55 mph, and most vehicles drive faster. We were subjected to 18-wheelers and all manner of agricultural vehicles blasting down the road at all hours. I kid you not, you could hear one of these vehicles several miles down the road both before and after passing. It sounded like a train driving through the bedroom. We were woken up several times every night and very early every weekday morning with the start of rush hour. My husband is a heavy sleeper and has never had so much sleep disruption before. Traffic was lighter on the weekend, but then we could hear loud music despite the surrounding properties not being visible. It's a shame because I recognize this is not the property owner's fault. Still, I can't recommend this property unless you are a very, very heavy sleeper who is used to sleeping around a lot of noise. The property was very brightly flood-lit as well. I recognize the need to keep things secure, but many of these lights shone directly into the bedrooms and the blinds were insufficient to block this light. Waking up in the middle of the night (which happened a lot), it was impossible to tell if it was dawn or not by the amount of light in the room. I am very sorry to leave a review like this, but I would only recommend this property to people who aren't bothered by noise or light when sleeping.

If you like the charm of a well maintained old house in a huge garden, then this is the perfekt place.
The place was beautiful. We stayed for a week and it pretty much had everything we needed. Loved the yard And the house was very well decorated. Would definitely stay there again.
