The home was completely renovated in 2022! It is located across from Lake Wisconsin with a modern open floor plan, lake views, and a large front deck. The free Merrimac Ferry is within walking distance or a short drive away. Devil's Lake State Park and the Ice Age Trail are nearby. There are many options for restaurants in the surrounding areas, and Wisconsin Dells is a 30-minute drive away. There are endless areas to explore to enjoy year-round activities! Located in the quaint village of Merrimac, one block from Lake Wisconsin, and five blocks from the free Merrimac Ferry. In a family friendly neighborhood with sidewalks, yet feels private on all sides of the property. Walking distance to Merrimac Memorial Park with dock for fishing, a playground, and panoramic lake views. Relax on the large front deck overlooking the community baseball diamond and Lake Wisconsin. In warmer months, a four person outdoor dining table with an umbrella and also four tall deck chairs are available. The kitchen is equipped with fridge/freezer, stovetop/oven, microwave, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, cooking sheets, casserole dishes, slow cooker, coffee maker (12-cup drip and Keurig combo), and toaster. There is an outdoor charcoal grill for guest use (bring your own charcoal and fluid). Main level full bathroom with tub/shower and essentials (bath/hand towels, washcloths, TP, tissues, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash). Access to the basement is included. There is a rec room with living space and TV, table for games or dining, work desk, and a putting green mat. There is also a washer and dryer and a quarter bathroom (toilet only, utility sink is around the corner in laundry space). In the living room, there is a Samsung smart TV with YouTubeTV streaming app, along with various games and puzzles for your entertainment. There is also a smart TV in the basement rec room. Sleeping arrangements: Bedroom 1 - one king bed Bedroom 2 - one queen bed Living room - two sleeper sofas (queen and twin) All bedding and linens are provided. Access to the 2-car garage is included. Securely park two vehicles in the garage with any additional gear that you bring. Note the garage door has a 7 ft height clearance. The driveway can fit another two vehicles. Everything about this house was perfect! My fiance and I along with our kids had the best family getaway ever. The house is in a perfect location with everything you need for a great time no more than 20 mins away. My fiancee loved it so much she wants to return for our honeymoon minus the kids so we can really enjoy the lake and everything the community has to offer. They got to share a queen sized bed and the beds were pretty comfortable! The owner let us know before checking in that there was an issue with the furnace and it was fixed very quickly before we even got there! It was so clean and well maintained. The neighborhood was quiet. The road its on seemed alittle busy, but you'd never notice it or hear it from inside the house. We will definitely be renting it again in the future! ##### Jenn T. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and close location to Devil’s head made for a perfect family ski vacation ! You can tell everything is new and we enjoyed reading the list of activities. We took the Ferry over to hike the rock and had a wonderful time. Views are so beautiful.
