This historic home built from sandstone that was sourced and quarried on the property just prior to 1865 for the home’s construction. This five-bedroom home is ideal for a family or families seeking active pursuits such as skiing, snow-boarding, mountain biking or hiking, as well as those looking for a more relaxed place to enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Victorian High Country.  
  
It is located 15 minutes to the gates of Mount Buller and a 10-minute drive from Mansfield.  
  
Cornhill embraces magnificent views over the Merrijig valley to the High Country's iconic summit of Mt Buller.  
  
Tessellated tiling at entry, bespoke Victorian leadlight and 12' ceilings introduce an entirely elegant and spacious, formal lounge, with its true to period marble fireplace. A generous, casual dining room with modern kitchen of understated conveniences and excellent proportion adjoins. This relaxed family space also possesses simply superb views to gardens, pool, mountains, and French doors open to summer evening dining in sublime surrounds.

#### Absolutely magnificent place for a family catch up.

The minute we drove up the driveway and entered the property, we were all in awe. Walking inside this place was mind blowing with the work that had gone into restoring this place. The bedrooms were lavish and well appointed. The grounds around the house were well maintained and easy to walk around and explore. The walk just around the Veranda saw a different angle and view of this place. It was quiet and a very relaxing place to stay. No one in my party of 9 were disappointed.
