We loved falling asleep the gentle lull of the waves in the harbor. The boat and harbor house were well maintained and had a charming, nostalgic vibe. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and walking the harbor wall. There’s a fantastic little cafe with outdoor seating, The Serving Spoon, just across the street and a playground for kiddos right at the marina. We were only in town for a day to attend a wedding, but the relaxation we enjoyed on the boat rejuvenated us. Don and Judy have thoughtfully adorned the boat with all the essentials and are lovely hosts! We plan to return with our kiddos before the season is over. When we got to town, we were immediately greeted by Judy and Don. They gave us an orientation to the boat. They were both so nice! The boat is really cute how they have it set up is perfect! Everything was as described on VRBO. I would recommend staying on the Carver for a little get away!
