An Amazing quaint boutique stay! We had the mini apartment by the pool. The entire staff here is amazing! We stayed for 7 days and enjoyed every day! We will be back!

This may have been my favorite boutique hotel I’ve stayed in. Very friendly staff, fresh breakfast, lovely room with all the amenities I needed, amazing location, and overall a beautiful hotel. Would recommend more than any place I’ve stayed in Argentina.

Had a great stay here! The location is very close to downtown and easily walkable. It's also easy to get on the main roads to see vineyards in the valley. Everyone working at the property was kind and went out of their way to help us plan the best few days in the area. Would definitely come back! Thank you!

I recently stayed here with my boyfriend and so far was the highlight of my trip! The staff kindly surprised us with an upgrade on our arrival which I’ve never received and it was amazing. The whole place was so clean with a lovely continental breakfast in the morning. The staff were amazing and so lovely and attentive. Thank you so much!

Charm in Chacras
Great location in Chacras de Coria. Walking distance to everything. Lovely hotel with great staff. Nice breakfast. Also enjoyed a nice massage that can be reserved directly through hotel.

The facility is lovely and the location is better than staying in Mendoza for many reasons. But most importantly our hosts were highly accommodating in fixing a booking error and facilitating our lack of a power converter and currency exchange.

Highly recommended
Very friendly staff and safe area. We are so glad we stayed in Chacras de Coria it is a small town with everything walking distance. Staff gives a small map and explains the area upon check in. They are also happy to help arrange wine tours- I highly recommend the Uco Valley. Their pool is also very nice to relax in when you return from the winery!

A beautiful little gem of a hotel, family-owned, and they truly make you feel like family too. Any little thing you need, they help with. All the staff is so friendly and helpful, and they offer maid service daily. The architecture is rustically beautiful but you have all the modern conveniences. Everything is spotlessly clean and works perfectly, and the beds are comfortable. If you're there on a Sunday be sure to make reservations in advance for their cooking class and lunch! And room tip---you're going to want a little patio to sit outside, so book a room facing the pool.

Family owned boutique hotel. The hospitality is top notch. Frankly the hotel was the best part of our stay in Mendoza and we did not even partake in the pool, wine tasting, or jacuzzi. Definitely recommend

The staff accommodated our request for a rollaway bed, which was already set up in our room when we arrived. Check in was quick and easy, and the front desk agent helped us with our bags. He recommended a wonderful pizza restaurant within walking distance.

Excelente servicio. Nos dejaron hacer early check-in pero el cuarto no estaba listo hasta las 15hrs porque nos hicieron un upgrade. Cuarto limpio y en excelente condiciones. En el área del kitchenette hay un adaptador US, muy conveniente y bien pensado para extranjeros. Definitivamente volvería.

We had a great time during our 4 nights at Posada El Encuentro. It was a great base point for visiting allll the nearby wineries. I would recommend it and Chacras de Coria so much more than staying in Mendoza City (which is only 15 minutes away anyways, $5-$10 taxi rides, and plenty of restaurants wihing walking distance to eat at in Chacras anyweays) I liked that it was a small, family run hotel. It's not fancy, but it is very well maintained and we have absolutely nothing to complain about. We already thought the customer service was exceptional when we were able to do a load of laundry there, or when one of the owners loaned us his bus card for our day hike, or how they showed us in detail how to get to each winery. The asado dinner they offer, while not cheap for Argentina standards, was a great experience, and you got to eat with the chef and hear his stories. However, what really stood out to us, was that we had to leave Argentina early due to the Argentine president closing the borders due to coronavirus. Deborah, one of the owners, helped us for over an hour, figuring out new flights, letting us use her computer, offering to call the airline, and even letting us continue to use our hotel room after we checked out when it turned out our new flight wasn't until 1 am. We would highly recommend Posada el Encuentro to anyone, it was a wonderful experience.

This was a lovely family run hotel. We had a 4 night stay in a family sized room. They organized a wine tour out to the Uco valley with Ferdinand as our driver. The hotel was a short walk to restaurants,bars and small shops.

This is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. It definitely photographs better than in real life. While it does have some charm the most important part was the bed was absolutely miserable. I’ve stayed in my share of hotels and I can’t say I’ve ever suffered a worse mattress. I felt as though I had been beat up in the morning. The breakfast was meager and left much to be desired as well. The coffee was stale and weak. The people running it seemed nice enough and while it didn’t scream spotless nothing stood out as terrible.

Overall this place is a great base to explore Mendoza. The rooms are cosy, the bed comfortable and the bathrooms very clean. The staff were exceptionally helpful putting together an itinerary for us as we hadn’t booked anything yet when we arrived. There are great restaurants nearby you can easily walk to and a bike hire place if you need it. I’d recommend hiring a car so we could do whatever you want to. We indulged in the half day at the thermal spa (Termas Cacheuta) which was amazing and would have been tricky without a car. If you stay here check out their amazing cellar as well.
