Weekend Getaway
My boyfriend and I came to Mendicino to relax and unwind from stressful jobs. I am a nurse and just the sound of the waves crashing was relaxing. The place was super comfortable, only add I could see being better would have been an outdoor hot tub.

Fabulous location. We stayed in the Pacifica Suite. Everything was perfect. There was a great stereo setup. We had fun dancing to all the music. We even had a group of deer drop by. Wonderful vacation.

Amazing waterfront and view
We absolutely adored this gem of a property. The view cannot be beat and the unit itself is clean and comfortable. The owners had great communication and were very friendly to speak to on the phone when I needed a question answered. This unit and trip will always be special to us as we got engaged on this trip. We would strongly recommend this unit to anyone considering. We look forward to coming back.

Fabulous stay in Mendocino
The place was awesome. The view of the ocean was spectacular. The fireplace worked perfectly and the weather was great. We loved the town and found hiking trails that were long a had great scenery. The amenities at the place suited us well for our 4 night stay.

The title about says it all, but there's more to add...really great view, only outside sounds were the waves breaking on the cliffs, less than five minutes to Mendocino Main Street, ready to return at the drop of a hat, great hosts.

In one word, FANTASTIC!! We have stayed in so many places in Mendocino over the past 40 years and this is one of the top three. The view is beautiful and the studio is very well done. Hopefully, it will be available for future stays

Stunning view
Dan and Laura’s place is impeccable and the view is utterly amazing. It was the perfect spot for me and my husband and pup, even in the rain. What better place to watch the storm than here? Definitely would stay here again.

My husband and I had the great pleasure of staying in the Pacifica Suite, at Cypress Cove! From everything we read, it was indeed a fantastic place to stay. Dan and Laura made our visit extra special, with a welcoming tray of spirits for our 5th Anniversary. Everything was better than described and we were thrilled to stay at such a lovely place, over a wintry and rainy weekend. And the woodburning stove fires we had, made it extra cozy. We give the Pacific Suite our highest recommendation, and we're looking forward to staying there again!

A Room With a View
This is not the first time we have stayed at Pacifica Suite and we keep returning because it is the perfect place to stay in Mendocino. The unit includes a kitchen, large bathroom and living room/bedroom with the bed facing the large windows overlooking the water and the town of Mendocino. It's quiet and private and only a very short drive from the town where there are excellent restaurants. Also good places to walk/hike nearby. We will definitely return.

Birthday Trip
I wanted to surprise my partner with a birthday getaway where we could hunker down and spend some quality time together. This place could not have been more perfect. The setting was gorgeous, the quaint set up was perfect, and being so close to the cute little downtown Mendocino was great. I was pleasantly surprised at how well-stocked the local grocery store in a Mendocino was. Literally anything you could need was there and they had lots of vegan options which isn’t typical in small towns. Back to the place …. The view is undeniably beautiful. We had rain and wind and sun in our short two night stay and I can’t tell you which was our favorite. The place had a set of binoculars so it was fun to look at the town across the way and we even saw a pack of sea lions. The place is small but not too small. My partner was over the moon happy with the location. The owners were easy to communicate with and we felt very welcomed. 10/10 experience!

My significant other and I loved our stay in the Pacifica Suite. Clean,warm and private. The view is hard to top along with the sound of the crashing waves below. We JUST missed a storm so that is the only thing that could have made it better. Already talking about a return.

We loved this place. It was just the perfect getaway and had everything we needed. View was amazing. We even had a giant rainbow on a rainy day. We were there three nights and ate out mostly, yet they had a well-equipped kitchen for the one night we wanted just to stay home.

We’ve been traveling to the Ft. Bragg and Mendocino area for more than 40 years. Seldom do we come over to stay just the two of us. Although it was our first stay at Cypress Cove Pacifica it is going on the list as one of our top five places to stay. Clean, quiet with an unbelievable view of iconic the Mendocino Headlands. The night lights and beaches below- spectacular.

I stayed here with my 82 year old mother for two nights July 2023. The views that are shown on VRBO are totally accurate… it is spectacular! The apartment was bright, cheery, and most importantly… spotless. We enjoyed coffee on the deck both mornings, and easily made meals in the kitchen ( well stocked with pots pans etc) We hope to be back again.

Mendocino's best view
Very well appointed, very well maintained and very clean. All essentials are provided, very peaceful and serene with an amazing view. One of the most relaxing vacations I have ever had. We celebrated our 20th anniversary while we were there and couldn't have enjoyed it any more than we did. Looking forward to returning again.

This is a wonderful peaceful retreat. The view is over the top, and the suite is so clean, comfortable and full of amenities. If you can drag yourself away, there is plenty to do in Mendocino and the surrounding area

The views are drop dead gorgeous, the location is perfect for exploring, the beds were very comfortable and the sounds of the waves lulled us to sleep. The only negative I could think of was there is no dishwasher. If you eat all your meals out then it’s no big deal. I would like to suggest a Keurig coffee maker so guests can bring there own k-cups. Don’t forget to try fish and chips at Noyo Harbor and to hike along the Big River trail.

I think we have stayed here at least six times. Very private, wonderful amazing view, and having a full kitchen is helpful. Already planning another getaway here. Be aware that the wind is what it is. It isn’t unique to this property but it can get gusty. Mornings are almost always calm and there is so much to do in the area that it is only a factor if you want to sit on the deck. Love the fireplace and jacuzzi.
