Loved the woodburning stove, the view from the cabin of the lake was very pretty, comfortable couch and kiving space. Kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely come back. Also, good place to stay and see area water falls.
Everything was great: beautiful location, cute cabin with solid amenities and the beds were comfortable. We saw plenty of wildlife: deer, ducks, otters, kingfishers, turtles, frogs and eagles. Even the tweens had a good time!
The cabin was lovely. It was very peaceful and completely quiet for my entire stay. No road noise or traffic, no neighbors. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and the washer and dryer were convenient. The wifi worked perfectly too. The pictures were accurate, its a very cozy cabin. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay. The cabin was well maintained and central to things we were doing - kayaking, hiking to waterfalls, and exploring a bit of Lake Superior. We used it as more of a home base for our excursions. We all wished we'd have spent a little more time at the cabin - having a fire, getting out on the lake, etc. Overall, it was a very nice stay.
Excellent Laundry room. Attention to detail! Heater worked great when needed, then cooled down when not needed. Comfortable and great view of the lake which we enjoyed early in the am!
The cabin was way more spacious that I was expecting! It was in a great location to just get away from everything. The night sky was amazing, I don't think I've seen so many stars in my life! It was beautiful to see the stars reflect off the lake. Wi-Fi wasn't the greatest, but we weren't there to work or play on our phones so it wasn't an issue.
The cabin was a welcome return site for our second trip to Copper Falls. It’s so roomy and comfortable, the lake is really beautiful, and it has everything we need. Thank you!
Loved the quiet, cozy cabin. Close to many waterfalls. We had my elderly father with us and he was able to get around the cabin easily with his walker. Lots of space for our two year old granddaughter to play as well. The fish didn’t bite but but was still fun fishing off the dock. Was too cold to get out the paddle boat or kayak. We would stay again.
Took a few days vacation with our 20 and 17 yo old sons. Everything was absolutely amazing! So much fun!! Cabin was clean, beautifully decorated…..just perfect! Definitely would love to come back again….thank you for great memories!!
Beautiful cabin and property. Loved the calm lake and the privacy , Super clean and stocked with most anything you would need. It was nice to be able to contact the owner if needed, Thanks Keith for sharing your beautiful property.

Beautiful cabin on a beautiful lake. Very peaceful, we had the luxury of having some Loons patrol the lake as well as two pairs of Swans. The fishing was fantastic for children. Mellen and the surrounding area are very beautiful. We went to Dusty’s Saloon when thirsty, had supper at Elkhorn Lodge in Clam Lake. Visited Corrigans lookout in Upson, hiked Cooper Falls but spent most of our time on the lake at the cabin. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the north woods.

Good location, cute cabin, but had a horrible fly infestation
Nice location, beautiful lake, but there had to been thousands of dead and alive flies. When we arrived we spent an hour and a half vacuuming up flies, and the owner just blew it off. was not impressed why the owner handled it!
My family and in-laws stayed at this place. There were 6 of us and we truly enjoyed our time together at this cabin. It is very close to copper falls which is the main reason we chose it but found that we stayed at the house and property a lot as my boys enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boat.
There is plenty of room inside to hand out and play board games and the the kitchen had plenty of pots, pan, and many other things to be used for cooking during our stay.
I found that this property was very relaxing and quiet and I enjoyed God's creation in the quietness as there is very few houses on the lake and lots of wonderful wildlife on and around the lake.
If your looking for the most serene and quiet getaway in an adorable log cabin on a small no wake lake with great panfish and large mouth bass fishing this is for you! Our cabin was very clean and well stocked. Our daughter, son n law and two grandchildren joined us and we all had a great, relaxing time. Copper Falls State Park and other waterfalls offer great hiking, falls and beautiful scenery close by. Our son n law caught a 22" bass! Daughter and grandkids caught panfish after panfish for a great fish fry! Campfires, smores, sunsets, and family! What else could a person ask for!
The property was even better than the description! The cabin was immaculate and well stocked, including a lot of unexpected extras. The kitchen had everything you could ever need. The bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable. The downstairs bedroom had beautiful views of the lake! Bathrooms were stocked with fluffy towels and toiletries. There was a nice sized washer and dryer. My absolute favorite amenity was the wood burning stove. After long hikes at multiple waterfalls in the area, sitting in front of the fire was a nice way to end the day. The guys were able to fish from the pier and from kayaks. Even in the brisk weather, kayaking around the lake was enjoyable. Seeing a bald eagle and a loon really made my day! Overall, this was a great place to stay! I will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
Great quiet location. Beautiful property. Cabin is clean, and nicely laid out - very hospitibal. Seems the owner has thought of almost everything to make the stay enjoyable while including many of the comforts of home that one might not think of when packing for the stay. Great fishing as well. Will definitely be back.
