You could even walk to town if you choose to. If you are lucky you will get to see deer roaming the property, wallaby's sunbaking on the lawn and birdlife in abundance. The Huntsman is simple but comfortable. It is safe, peaceful and tranquil. Leave your cares in the city and enjoy the serenity of bird song in the morning, peace and quiet during the day and silence at night. The Huntsman cabin is located at the high end of the property and overlooks the town. Reaching the cabin is via the main driveway. The driveway is steep and requires a car with power to get you up the hill. All wheel drive or 4x4 will do the trick. A conventional car will also make it with steady driving. It's only short but quite steep. We live in the big house down the hill but understand you are here to enjoy your privacy. We will not impede on your time unless required. Communiction is via this platform. Internet - I have provided a portable modem within the cabin. The connect instructions are in the manual in the cabin. Kitchen - There is a microwave oven, toaster, kettle and a portable 2 hob cooker. Loads of walks for the active tourist and only a stone’s throw from the wineries of the Yarra Valley. The wood fire place kept the cottage warm and cosy at night.Bed was very comfortable and kitchen had all the amenities you could require. We found it very quiet with only the bird songs to listen to. The furnishings are quirky with an "Alice in Wonderland" feel that was delightful.
