One thing to note - the central heating was awesome - but in order to warm up the downstairs enough, the upstairs became boiling hot. My youngest is 2, so we thought travelling there from Melbourne and back in one day would be too much. So we decided on a one night stay. The host was very accommodating, even offered us an early check in. Gaining access to the property was easy. The property was perfect for our group, it was spacious without being too big.
