I had a beautiful chaise lounge in my room. Very comfortable for a night before and after hospital close to the Alfred. Only negative was that the stairs in front of the hotel are low compared to average and not well lit at night as well as being dark grey. The noise continued the next night and we reported to the staff. They Handled the complaint very professionally and the noise stopped the next night. Unfortunately there was an electrical problem with our room, and they had no more accessible rooms. They did try to see if my husband could manage in another room but unfortunately he couldn’t. We live in the country so that is why we stayed the night before our appointment at the Alfred hospital in the morning. The staff were fantastic and found us other suitable accommodation close to the hospital at no extra cost to us, which we are very grateful for. Could not have asked for better service from the manager and staff on that day.
