This generously proportioned apartment comprises of a spacious living zone opening to a covered balcony, stunning bright kitchen with Italian stone benchtops and Euro appliances. Added benefits include security video intercom, reverse cycle heating & cooling units in living area and both bedrooms, secure basement parking for one car. Fully tiled apartment with carpet in bedrooms. Most residents are owner occupiers so there is no parties or noise. Guest access: Access to the apartment is either through the front entry or the basement car park via a lift. You have 2 Trams going NS and EW within 1 min walk. There are numerous restaurants within a 2-5 min walk from the apartment and a handy supermarket 2 min walk away. It was as advertised, the location was great and the free undercover allocated carpark and lift was great. The only problem was that the lift broke down on the Saturday, we coped with climbing the 3 flights of stairs a couple of times on the Saturday (we are not young) but were concerned about getting our luggage down the stairs when we left on the Sunday. Jacqui, the Host, was great, she came round in the morning and carried all 3 of our cases downstairs to the car. we were very grateful for this help. The apartment was clean and everything worked well.The only thing people should know is that the WiFi gets very weak during the day when I suppose the network is congested. Early in the morning, it was great every day, but as the day went on it would get weaker to the point of often being basically unusable. I say this not to criticize (I have no idea whether it's because the owner subscribes to a low tier or whether it's simply something about the neighborhood or about Melbourne or about Australia).
