I was also disappointed that the pool was not usable, that is NOT the hostesses fault, but should be noted if you are looking forward to using it like I was. The location was perfect for visiting my son at college and the beach. I would definitely stay here again. We have stayed at other condos in this building and nearby properties. It is nice to have an elevator and it has never been slow or failed us. This is the first time in this unit and it was exceptionally clean and recently updated. The bed is reasonably comfortable (we prefer beds a bit more on the softer side.) The bed frame makes quite a bit of noise when you move around. The linens and towels were all very nice. My only slight complaint is that photos on the listing show different patio furniture that is actually at the property. I think it must have been recently replaced. I was trying to avoid the Adirondack style chairs, but that it what I found here. Not enough to really detract from our stay, but my husband could not sit outside at all as he cannot get down into those seats. The kitchen is nicely stocked so I was able to cook some side dishes to take to a holiday meal with family. The electronic lock works well and it is nice to not have a key to keep up with. Parking is convenient and spaces were always available. It is an in-town location and you will hear road noise and trains, but other than that it was relaxing. This is a condo that we will look forward to returning to. ##### Susan G. The location is nice for walking or running over the causeway to the beach. Also the little park and the quick walk to Crane Creek are nice. The Mansion and other restaurants in walking distance are good and lots of areas are easily drive-able. The drawback in the neighborhood was, the drug deal/car full of people getting high and passing out in their car for several hours just below our balcony. The homeless folks sleeping under the bridge and hanging out along the street did not bother us but if you’re intimidated by that type of living you might want to find different accommodations. Gaining access to the condo was a little bit tense. When we looked up our booking on HomeAway and followed those directions we couldn’t unlock the door. I called the number...no answer, but was quickly called back by the guy who no longer owns the condo. Needless to say he couldn’t help us. (Please, someone, take that information off the listing on HomeAway!) I kept looking through past emails and found the code to enter the condo. We had very little time for TV but when we tried to use the one in the bedroom we couldn’t get any channels. Maybe a courtesy card by each of the TVs explaining how to work them would be nice. The condo itself is pretty tired and needs some attention. Screen door to the balcony is broken off and leaning against the wall. (It was broken 2 years ago when we stayed here last.) Blinds are broken and can’t be easily opened and closed. (Same condition as two years ago.) Burned out light bulbs need to be replaced. There was only a 1/2 roll of toilet paper and unfortunately we didn’t realize we were out till we were OUT! Not good! Maybe put in the listing that people should bring their own so they will be prepared. I believe this condo is stocked with inventory through the generosity of the previous vacationers. We left coffee, filters, toilet paper, laundry detergent and paper towels. Enjoy! The bed sheets were clean and soft so that was nice. ##### Wendy F. We had a wonderful stay at the Melbourne Harbor condos. The place was neat and very clean. Newly renovated with everything we needed for our two months stay. Nice pool with new lounge chairs. Great location within walking distance of downtown Melbourne. Kayaks and pontoon boat rentals nearby. Sitting on the balcony watching the boats going in and out of the harbor was one of our favorite things to do. We enjoyed this condo so much we will be back next year! We were exploring the Melbourne area as a potential retirement town. The condo is very clean, comfortable, and convenient. We were also able to have our dog with us, and there is a great little park adjoining the building all set for dog walkers with bags & disposal bins right there. Nice view of the harbor, right next to the bridge over to the ocean beaches. Walk to town to shop & sample the restaurants. There are trains running 24/7, but I assume you would hear them from anywhere in the area that you would stay. The bedroom has a double bed & we would have liked a queen, as we normally sleep in a king. But the mattress was comfortable. Very gracious owners to work with. ##### Suzen O.
