Getting Around: Elsternwick railway station on the Sandringham railway line is located on Riddell Parade next to Glen Huntly Road. Melbourne tram route 67 links Elsternwick to the Melbourne city centre. It travels along Glen Huntly Road from Carnegie, through Glen Huntly and Caulfield South to Elsternwick and, then, via Brighton Road and St Kilda Road to the CBD, via Swanston Street. It terminates at the University of Melbourne. Other Things to Note: All the apartments we manage come with a detailed Welcome Letter so you know how everything works to ensure you can get the most out of your stay. All bedding and towels (note one bath towel per person booked) are included along with beginner basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, milk, shampoo, bodywash and toilet paper to get you through the first few days. Prior to arrival, we ask all guests to quickly fill in some contact information and tell them a little bit more about how we hope they'll look after the apartment. It was mid winter so the heating system was very efficient and cosy. The living areas and bedrooms were comfy. While the bathroom and kitchen were quite dated, they met our needs. The one tip for guests, is that the apartment is on a tramline so light sleepers may wish to pack earplugs.
