Getting Around: Easy. Surrounded by trams, cabs, buses & trains, it makes getting in, out & around the city extremely convenient. If you're not a fan of walking, there is a tram stop at the corner of Elizabeth & La Trobe St, just a 2min walk away from us. Most importantly, all trams within the city grid are FREE. Just look out for the "FREE tram zone" signs. No problems hitching a cab or getting on a bus on A'Beckett or Elizabeth St if you would like to head out of the city. If you plan to take a train, the Melbourne Central railway station is just a 5min walk away from us. If you drive, the nearest paid parking lot is available at “58 Franklin Street Melbourne VIC 3000” just a 3 min walk away from us. Alternatively you may look online for other suitable parking options. If you just need to park your car temporarily for an hour or so, then you may observe the paid street parking signs around us. Other Things to Note: A representative will provide you with the SELF CHECK-IN details. This pad accommodates 4 adults generously but a max of 6 overnight. Check in was easy, although a bit of a nuisance having to carry luggage after picking up the key from the mini mart around the corner. Not sure why the onsite concierge can’t be used? The apartment was clean, but looked like it was cleaned in a hurry which was unexpected considering check in and check out times are so strict.
