Relax and enjoy staying in this wonderful rammed earth self contained studio apartment built with sustainability in mind. Set on 1.3 hectares of native bush and only minutes by car to the centre of Healesville and the great selection of cafes, shops and restaurants, with the wineries only a short driving distance. If you're wanting to tour the wineries and would prefer not to drive, there are some great local Yarra Valley winery tour companies to choose from. The apartment is separate from the main house with its own entrance and deck, with outdoor setting & BBQ facilities. The apartment has a kitchenette including microwave and fridge in case you want to stay in to eat. With a great range of restaurants in Healesville and surrounds, you will be spoilt for choices to wine and dine. Some of the popular well known restaurants & wine bars are the Healesville Hotel where you can enjoy anything from a coffee to some amazing wines and excellent meals, Innocent Bystander for something a little more relaxed with an amazing wine list, a great selection of cheeses, and the town's best freshly baked bread. Or if you don't mind a quick drive there is the wonderful Hargreaves Hill, where you can be guaranteed an excellent meal, wines, service and great boutique beers. If you enjoy going to markets then Healesville and the Yarra Valley have many diverse markets to choose from. Look on the Yarra Ranges Regional Marketing website for further information. For the ladies who love to shop there are some great boutiques in Healesville and Yarra Glen. Healesville is a lovely place to just sit and have a coffee or go for a walk. Some of the wineries close by are Boat O'aigo, Rochford Wines, Oakridge, Dominique Portet, Tokar Estate, Coldstream Hills, Yarra Yering,Yering Farm, St Hubert's & Punt Road just to name a few. For a delightful lunch call into one of the many wineries offering delightful meals, or try the new Coombe Melba Estate, or Meletos, BoatO Craigo are also doing doing delicious lunches, check websites for details, wherever you chose the views and the food are great. Only a short drive is away is Yarra Glen with more wonderful wineries to visit, such as Sticks, DeBortoli 's, Mandala, Allinda, and many more along the Melba Hwy; including the delicious Chocolatier, or you may choose to go the Warburton Hwy side, again a great choice of wineries, Whispering Hills, Seville Hill, and many more. Also included is a flat screen TV and DVD player, with free selection of DVD's to sit back and watch, we also provide free WiFi and have Chromecast so you can use your Netflix or whatever you use, There is an alarm clock. The split system reverse cycle air conditioning is available to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer. Local attractions include wineries and winery tours, Healesville Sanctuary, Tarrawarra museum of art, also local artists and studios, local markets, Day on the Green concerts at Rochford Winery, local music festival, farm gates, national parks and picnic spots. Close to snow fields, Lake Eildon, Warburton and Marysville & Mt Donna Buang for day trips. Accomodation Features: All in one Studio apartment, with all the comforts of home, including DVD's ,to sit back and relax with over a glass of wine. The studio has a queen size bed, with a cosy goose down doona and quality linen, a two seater couch, Flat screen TV and DVD player, along with a selection of DVD's to watch, and all the facilities you would require to make your stay comfortable. Private deck with access to the BBQ, along with an outdoor setting to sit and eat your breakfast or read the paper or just enjoy the sunshine. Tea, coffee, sugar & milk provided. Servicing of the studio not provided during your stay. Additional towels available if required. The owners live in the main house, so are there if you require anything. Also available for your enjoyment is a pool table for your use, if you want to have some fun and play either snooker or kelly pool it's there for you to enjoy. We have a large fire pit so you can sit outside on a lovely evening with your glass of wine and enjoy the fire and relax. .whatever. Minimum 2 night stay. Lianne was a great host and waited for us till we arrived after 9pm as our flight was delayed. The studio was well equipped, clean and is extremely quaint. Situated close to the best of the Yarra Valley and is truly home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. From the moment you drive down the driveway you feel relaxed. Set in the bush and only a 3km drive, walk or bike ride from the main st of Healesville, Bundjil Studio is a little gem. A gorgeous cabin, so homely, comfortable and clean and clearly owners Lianne and Paul take great pride in making your stay so enjoyable. Completely self-contained, great linen, even few treats like cereals, jams, yummy chocolates, tea and coffee. We loved exploring Healesville and coming home here throughout the day and at night. The accomodation was wonderful, comfortable and perfect for our weekend stay. Our dog and Shea got along really well, they spent lots of time outside together. The studio contained nice amenities including fast wifi, chromecast for the tv and the kitchen had everything that we could need. Only a short drive to all Yarra valley attractions. This is a beautiful property just out of Healesville in a lovely bush setting. The room was immaculately presented, and had everything you could possibly want. Lovely outdoor area for relaxing amongst nature, and great BBQ for cooking up a feast. Bundjil Studio is an ideal location for a quiet getaway. The apartment is very nicely appointed. Our dog was very welcomed and had a great time exploring the land. Plenty to do with a good selection of DVDs, pool table and close to the town.
