Beautiful property with expansive mature garden and views. Presents as shown in photography. Plenty of room for our adult family of 6 to enjoy a relaxing weekend in this luxury home. Lovely comfortable beds, slept soundly, thick fluffy towels and a tasty breakfast hamper.
Perfectly located in Ferny Creek, with easy driving access to local cafes, restaurants and other amenities.
Enjoyed a local walk and lunch, before a family wedding on the Saturday evening.
Plenty of room for all to get ready. A very enjoyable weekend.
The property was amazing, views, gardens, area all magnificent. Welcome package was generous and delicious. Facilities were ample and clean, although the following were a little disappointing.
Fire Fan Slide was not working properly and got stuck the first night, not allowing the oxygen to circulate the fire properly, the heater took far too long to heat up, resulting in the four of us going to bed with electric blankets at 730pm because inside temp was 11'.
Cutlery and Dishes had to be washed before use, the coffee espresso stove top jug couldn't be used due to a spider nest inside. The other coffee plungers on the bench were dirty. Lights in the downstairs bathroom were not working, bar one. Lighting in the upstairs, not all working. Downstairs games were old and incomplete. Bedding was a little disappointing as doonas were sandwiched between two sheets rather than a doona cover. Master bedroom we found a live silverfish in between the pillows.
Other than that the house with a little extra love and upgrade is a must. the views are amazing from the upstairs loungeroom, location is really good, close to all the sights and shops. Sitting around the fire on the second night which we managed to fix was cozy.
Very spacious and gracious home. A wall of windows looking out to the amazing view. Very sparkly evenings.
We struggled with the heating instructions but when sorted we were super warm and comfortable.
Very quiet area, many excellent cafes and shops within a ten minute drive.
Gorgeous property with stunning grounds and views in a wonderfully peaceful location
A great place to enjoy family time, spacious living and beautiful grounds. We enjoyed the wildlife, the walks, the birdsong and the homely surroundings. Sad to leave but happy to have had the opportunity
Opened our eyes to another open to host small team get away which has been a positive experience. Loved the location of this property especially the near vicinity to Belgrave town and Porsepina bakery.
Loved the atmosphere of the property and the quiet road.
Felt that a few things could be improved with windows not being able to close in bathroom and a slightly unkempt feeling in some spots outside
Peaceful surrounds and immaculate property. Stunning view and grounds. House is a dream!
We would normally just use a house for sleeping and stay out the full day. Here, we wanted to stay on-site, chat, read, wander the grounds.. very serene, relaxing environment. Room for everyone to find their own space or be together comfortably dining or lounging. Many sitting nooks. Solid, gorgeous and comfortable property.
What a magnificent weekend!!! Boyanda is a beautiful property with beautiful grounds and a wonderful, gracious older style home. The views were fabulous. The living area upstairs was elegant and spacious with a gorgeous fire to add to the ambience. Kitchen was modern and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were exactly as described; they were spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was also a large living area downstairs so plenty of room for a family to spread out if needed. We will come back here in a heartbeat if we are ever staying in the area again.

This house is great if you can get in.
Three important things to know about this house are that the door lock is electric, that the area suffers frequent power outages and that the agent cannot help you get into the house during a power outage.
These things spoilt our weekend at Boyanda. We have stayed at too many short stay accommodation places to count, and this is the first time we have left a negative review.
At check-in time, we had to call the agent (Valley Ranges Getaways) to be able to find the key safe. Then we door would not unlock. Eventually Valley Ranges Getaways arranged other accommodation for us to be able to prepare for the wedding we were due to attend ( to which we arrived rather stressed!) Eventually, Valley Ranges Getaways worked out that power outage was the cause of us not being able to access Boyanda, but told us the only access option was to wait until the power was restored.
The agent had advised us prior to the stay that the power was unreliable and we should be prepared for this. They did not tell us that, if you leave the house, you should be prepared that you may not get back in! Fortunately, it is a great house to spend a weekend in.
We think Valley Ranges Getaways should have worked with the owners to allow guests safe access to the house when the power goes out. When we put this to Valley Ranges Getaways, they did not agree and neither apologised for the inconvenience nor offered any goodwill gesture.
