However it was perfect for our needs and we had a lovely stay to celebrate the end of school exams. Perfect location close to the beach and a 30 minute walk to Mornington main street. Local cafe (Lilo), with excellent coffee, a 15 minute walk. The property has excellent amenities including washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Everything provided in the kitchen for cooking. My only criticism was with regard to the cleanliness and general preservation of the property. I feel the property especially the kitchen area would need a deep clean. The shelves and drawers for storage were all quite dirty. While the sheets on the beds might have been clean, there were hairs etc on the outer covers! The bedclothes were washed out and drab looking. I contacted the owner the morning after our arrival and she apologised and sent some cleaning products and refunded two nights of our 15 night stay.
