Family reunion favorite
This is our 3rd year in this house for our family reunion. It is the best. Love the tiki hut...we spent evenings playing pirate ring toss and laughing so hard. This house has so many features -- well equipped for babies, toddlers and everyone. Besides the tiki hut, there is the heated pool!! We are planning to come back next year for our 4th reunion.

What you see is what you get!
We’ve booked our second stay at this location. Love the location. Close to the beach and if you’re not wanting to make the trek the pool will absolutely give you the privacy and relaxation you need. Can’t wait to stay here again this summer. Our entire family is looking forward to it.

Truly an Oasis

Was a great experience so close to all things yet far enough away that it felt very private The trees around the pool made it feel like there were no neigbors. We would and probably will stay again if it works out All the supplies were there for a trip to the beach which was the final item that sold me on the place Was nice not having to bring extra stuff The pool was heated which was great as the temps were a little cooler but poll felt great Extra supplies were there like tooth brush etc They thought of it all and was a great stay Thanks

Family Gathering
The property is well appointed with everything needed for homey comfort inside, a great outdoor play area with heated pool, and even bikes for cruising. The furnishings are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. There is a relaxed beach feel that is exactly what we wanted. It is close to the beach, shopping, good restaurants and local attractions but tucked in a quiet spot that feels very private when you are in the house and pool area. Perfect for hanging out with family and relaxing.

Absolutely perfect.
This was my first experience with a Vrbo. We had nine adults in an infant that was just turned one. This was a great experience. Lisa quickly answered all my questions that I had. The house had everything you will ever need to stay there and more. Location is great. 10 minute walk to the ocean. Plenty of stores and shopping around. washer and dryer was a bonus. We didn’t nearly need to pack as much as we did. Awesome for a larger group. So much room. We had a great time in the pool as well. I definitely would recommend this place to everyone.

Well stocked, clean property-matched listing. Very close to beach entrance as described. For the most part it is a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely consider staying here again if we were to return to area. Plenty of room for all of us (5 adults) to spread out.

Great house with easy beach access
Overall we were very happy with our stay. The house is spacious and well accommodated. We always found what we needed in the kitchen, extra linens, detergents, plenty of beach towels, etc. Wifi worked well, beds were comfy. The pool and tiki hut are great and we used the grill and really enjoyed eating under there. A/C was working fine. The walk to the beach is quick and easy (3 minutes) - you do have to cross a busy street, and there is one set of steep stairs to access the beach - these things were fine for us but could be tricky for anyone who isn’t able bodied. The beach itself is super private and very “wild” and remote feeling. Absolutely beautiful. Lots of waves in this part of FL so don’t expect to be able to go in very far. The one con about this house is the outdoor furniture. It’s really tired and needing to be replaced. For the price we paid, we didn’t think the outdoor furnishings were up to par. Also the outdoor area hadn’t been wiped down or swept and that was a bit annoying. Overall great house, we had a wonderful time and felt very comfortable.

Loved loved loved this place! So close to the beach and had everything we needed for a group of family and friends. The grill and seating area in the back was perfect for a cookout. Our hosts were amazing and even after a mix-up on VRBO were so accommodating. Really appreciate the house and experience overall. Would definitely return!

No Air Conditioning During Our Stay!!
The home itself is beautiful. The location is perfect. However when the air goes out in the home on the first day and doesn't get repaired until day 6 of your vacation then none of those other things matter. The home averaged 85 degrees. We had to go out and purchase our own fans because nothing was offered to us other than it will get fixed soon. I couldn't stress enough we had small children and elderly people and the temps in the home were rising. The owner refunded us $750.00 but when you pay over $4000.00 for a vacation home it was a slap in the face. Every single person woke up in sweat. we couldn't cook in the home because it was too hot. We had to go to a family friends home several times to take a break from the heat in the home. It was unbearable. This was by far the worst vacation ever. Shame on the owner for not doing more!!

Truly an Island Oasis
Island Oasis is the perfect name for this wonderful property. Inside, the home is well appointed for a relaxing comfortable stay featuring an open and airy coastal-cottage vibe that opens up to an inviting poolside area surrounded by lush tropical plantings. The covered Tiki bar/hut is a gem. We had lovely al fresco dinners within its twinkling-lit structure. Being here immediately shifts your whole being into relaxation mode. Perfectly located, the home is set within a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to the beach and a minutes drive to conveniences, be sure to check out Melbourne Market. The hosts were gracious and attentive. Our family enjoyed an amazing stay here, we loved it, and we will be sure to return. Thank you Lisa and Joanie.

Truly a Tropical Oasis in the backyard
We very much enjoyed our stay and the outdoor area and pool were simply amazing. Perfect for a family gathering that might include some younger kids. Very short walk to the beach, within 5 minutes, and close to shopping and everything else that you would need. Quiet neighborhood with the house easy to find and only a half block off A1A. Highly recommend!

Short walk to the beach and very friendly neighborhood for evening scooter/ walks with the kids to the river park. House was cute and the pool was awesome. I liked the alarm on the back doors you can turn off/on for young children with the pool! We already booked for next year:)

Overall delightful and any issues quickly resolved.
Overall, our stay was very delightful. We did have a few issues that needed attention during our stay, including a very loud motor to the sprinkler system that kept everyone awake that needed to be replaced. The dishwasher was full of dishes that had not been run before we arrived. Second time at this awesome house
This property suits our family needs perfectly, hence we rebooked straight after coming last year. Great location, just a short walk to the beach, that is essentially private as there’s no parking close by, so only residents, pedestrians and cyclists visit that stretch! Pool is awesome for the water fun to continue into the evening. Supplies are plentiful, from spices to toiletries, beach chairs, umbrellas and swim towels. We love being able to cook great meals and can choose from 3 areas to eat at family style. Also great eating options in town if you prefer - (Dijon Steak and Lobster is a favorite for a special/romantic occasion). Highly recommend this place!

Fabulous Tranquil Family Vacation Home
The Island Oasis is a beautiful home. The space has been well maintained. The backyard is a perfect family hangout area. The seating provided inside the home is conducive to family game time, and movie nights. The kitchen is well stocked with a variety of dishes and cookware. We definitely plan to return in the future.

My final score would be a 4.8 for this property. OVERALL, a wonderful property!!! I doubted the proximity to the ocean, but it truly is an EASY, short walk!!! Great kitchen will everything you need, plenty of bath/pool towels etc! Our favorite features were the pool area and the way the house was spread out for a group of eight (even tho only four of us were able to attend). Plenty of room to gather together, and still have private time away from the group. Only complaint was that the second shower did not have hot water and it was not fixed during our stay. HOWEVER, the master shower worked fine and even the shower outside was working well and had hot water, so we managed just fine. GREAT family space and the pool is wonderful (a bit hot for June, but that's our fault for booking during the hotter season). Host was prompt and very responsive.... and that means the world to me as a guest. We would definitely book again if our travels take us to that area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!! : )

Perfect Beach Vacation House
We had a wonderful time thanks to this house. It has plenty of space even at capacity. The pool area feels exotic and offers complete privacy. The walk to the beach is very short, and a hand cart is provided to help tote beach items. The beach itself was quite nice and almost private. We were concerned that the dinner table inside pictured was only a 6-seater when we had 8 adults, but currently the actual table at the house is different and seats 8! The kitchen is great. There are PLENTY of bath and beach towels, you really don't need to pack them. Other things the house had that is above the standard: a blender, crockpot, toaster, truly plenty of pots, pans, and baking dishes; beach chairs, beach & pool toys, a medium and small beach cooler, a gas grill with propane provided... and there are so many details around the house that result in a well thought-out beach house. Perfect vacation!

Idyllic!
The house was clean and incredibly well stocked for our family vacation. We had everything we needed and more! Every bedroom was comfortable and the layout of the house gave everyone plenty of space to spread out. The pool was the perfect temperature and had plenty of toys to keep our kids busy all week. With the beach and playground in easy walking distance, we couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We enjoyed the many experiences of the area -- beach walk, biking to nearby market and restaurants, kayak tour. The house had all the amenities plus was well decorated to provide the local beach vibe. Especially the "tiki hut" and outdoor patio and pool was the best and where we spent most of our time. We had the best time on our family vacation! The location is perfect. The beach is a quick 2 min walk and the house is in a quiet and clean neighborhood that is super close to restaurants and shops. The house was even prettier than the pictures. It was incredibly clean and the best stocked rental house we’ve ever been in! The backyard was amazing!!! The pool and tiki lounge were so much fun!! Our family had a great time making memories at this cosy beach rental home. Well supplied/equipped with everything we needed. A true ‘home from home’ Great layout, spacious space for our whole family - 4 adults and 3 kids. House was wonderful and outdoor space awesome. Loved the privacy also. Beach is just a short walk and there is a handy cart to transport all the beach chairs and umbrellas. We plan to return next year.

Great kitchen to cook in. The rooms were big, clean and all equipped with TVs. The backyard is wonderful and probably where you’ll spend most of your time if you aren’t on the beach. The Beach House get away
202 Surf Rd was a wonderful home to be in away from home! The decor was perfect! Inviting, clean, well maintained, very cozy and had an amazing outdoor pool and entertainment area to enjoy the weather with company. We will definitely return. It was hard to say good bye.

It's the weekend every day!
We planned our family vacation by selecting this home for its proximity to the beach, the fun backyard complete with a saltwater pool, and the proximity to area attractions; this home did not disappoint us one bit! We found a spacious beach home with plenty of room for all 7 adults on the tropical rainy afternoons. The home had plenty of supplies to get the week started and the Publix market is a close drive. We found the Melbourne Market had a wide variety of choices, an excellent butcher shop, and choices for to-go food items for the beach cooler. We visited the historic Melbourne district and enjoyed Costal Bites ceviche so much we went back on a second day! Our family booked an evening bioluminescent kayaking tour with Cocoa Kayaking tours - it was excellent! We enjoyed ourselves and were so happy with our experience we would stay again in the future. Thank you very much for the restful, sunny vacation. We miss you already Florida.
