"The property is just as described... four cozy A-Frames (5th being built), owned and operated by a very lovely family.
Highlights: The gardens and home cooking are every bit as good as all the other reviews attest! We also enjoyed the jungle trek.
Challenges:
It's hard to criticize a place when the cost is so low. But worth noting a couple of points; A/ this place is very remote! Best if you have your own transportation (bike). Grab is about 200k to the Munduk waterfall trek each...

"Maybe not many people know this place, but Royal Indah Cabin is a hidden gem worth staying at. It’s easy to find on Google Maps, has large parking, friendly staff, and includes breakfast. The bedroom and bathroom are clean, the water heater works well, and the lake and mountain views are amazing.
It’s also close to Dermaga Kedisan and a minimarket, which makes it really convenient. Just small note: the pillows are quite firm, so it was a bit less comfortable for sleeping. And in the morning, if...

"Die Cabins sind neu, mit Sicht auf den See, liegen mitten in den Gemüsefeldern und leider etwas abgelegen. Es ist deshalb zu empfehlen, mit dem eigenen Auto anzureisen (wir hatten einen privaten Fahrer und kamen deshalb abends nicht von dort weg, um essen zu gehen. Die Gastgeber haben uns Nasi Goreng und Pommes in der Cabin serviert). Die Cabins liegen auf 1200 müM und es wird abends sehr frisch. Warme Kleidung ist zu empfehlen. Wir haben vor allem nachts sehr gefroren, da es unter der Türe...

The resort is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it the perfect place to unwind after exploring Ubud. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel valued. The service was consistently outstanding and really made the trip feel special. The food was delicious with a great variety of options, and enjoying meals while overlooking the stunning scenery was a highlight each day. "Staff was very helpful and everyone from cleaning to pool were very nice. The pools were amazing, especially the adult only one. We tried a few experiences: Teppayanki: great taste and friendly chef, was a lot of fun. Only negative is the sauce maybe been a bit too buttery In villa dining: the staff set up a nice table and BBQ in our villa. The food was fresh off the grill and delicious with very generous portions."

"You guys this place is a must the amount of details that they go through and the staff and how polite they are is beyond. It's really what made my stay so special here I checked in for a solo trip and when I arrive late that night, they had set up a happy birthday sign on the bed that made me feel so special and they also put flowers in my outdoor bathtub I mean the details of this was just too much to not love"

"Not a big of a deal but water leaked from the shower room into the toilet area. It would be helpful if there are more towels placed in the room. I requested to leave extra towels in the room for the second night, but they didn't. It worked out ok. All the hotel staffs are nice and friendly. They are very helpful. The hotel gave us such a warm hospitality. I would stay there again."

"A superb hotel. Spent a week here in July 2026. Received a very warm welcome upon arrival and checked in to a standard room, more than adequate, spacious with a walk in shower and bath room. Bed was super comfy and huge! The pool area is more than adequate with sun beds available at all hours of the day. The pool has a great view over the nearby forest. Took advantage of the spa which provided excellent treatment, a little bit of extra luxury. The breakfast is very good with all you’d expect from a buffet catering to all cultural tastes. The 2 restaurants are good, although you may wish to go farther afield for some authentic Indonesian cuisine. Plenty available. The staff are super attentive, always around to serve at the pool or dining facilities. Always a sincere friendly greeting. The hotel Is about a 15 minute cheap taxi out of Ubud away from the busy areas. Only minor read for improvement would be room balcony, ours was a little shabby and not so Inviting as it was very close to the main road. Maybe request a room facing away from the road if affected by noise. Overall we would definitely visit again and recommend to any wishing to visit Ubud."

"We got the room with pool. It was bigger than expected which was a pleasant surprise, and the room itself was spacious. The buffet breakfast was great quality with a variety of options. The highlight was the service provided by staff; everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Very sad to leave this resort."
