Very clean and comfortable VRBO ! Highly recommend this rental .check instructions were very clear and enjoyed our stay so much !
Thank you!!
A+++ rating!
Easy to find, close to both state and national park. I loved having a washer/dryer. Kitchen was fairly well stocked. Beds were comfy. Good water pressure in the shower.
Spacious cabin close to Medora, but outside the city with a beautiful view of the Badlands and the stars!!! During summer, it looks like the campers would be right on top of each other, but we went in the off season (September) and had the campground basically to ourselves. It was wonderful!
The view and location was great. Was a little put off at no responses when i text and emailed because we could not find hand soap. But they wanted us to start a load of bedding laundry before we left. Thought that should be part of the cleanin fee duties.
We were happy with the location. The house was clean. There were very strong smelling air fresheners, three in all, arranged throughout the house. We were greeted with the noxious fumes of these air fresheners right when we walked inside. We put them out in the porch right away. Not all the lightbulbs worked, so we switched some around into the lamps that we wanted to use. The reading (bedside) lamps were severely bright white LED bulbs that were not ideal to have on before bedtime. A softer bulb with less lumens would be better.
The only other issue was that there are rv’s parked right up against one side of the home. The occupants of the RV were not noisy, but a diesel pick up started up at 6am and sat for a while, 10 minutes, before taking off for the day. Since we had our windows down it was not the best way to wake up to the smell and sound of a large engine idling for a while at 6 in the morning.
Other than that we enjoyed our two night’s stay.
The cabin was perfect for our needs. It was nice to have a kitchen to utilize. Sitting in the deck and enjoying the view was one of the highlights of the trip.
We enjoyed it very much. We stayed 2 nights, the cabin was clean and tidy. Our son got married there and the scenery was the perfect backdrop for a small family wedding!
Just a heads up tho, you may or may not have a camper just a few feet from your back door. Which didn't bother us at all, but it might some.
Wonderful location. Comfortable accommodations, has everything you need. It does need a little TLC ( a few pieces of furniture was broken) .
BUT, even with that, I would stay there again. Communication was easy and they were helpful.
Overall, a very good experience. We had a group of friends renting two cabins. The properties were clean, sufficient for our needs, well located for our activities. We were very close to Medora downtown and Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
We had a morning flight home out of Bismarck, so having to wash bedding and towels before we left was a bit of a bother. Not a big deal but have never had that requirement in any other of the many, many VRBO properties we have rented through the years.
Still would recommend this property
Brad's home was perfect for our brief visit to the Theodore Roosevelt Park. It lived up to our expectations from the description and reviews on the website. As mentioned by others, the house is immaculate, nicely appointed, welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, and we can't say enough about the gorgeous view from the porch.

Nice Enough Place
The cabin was clean, adequately furnished and in an excellent location. However, there were major maintenance issues both inside and out which made the stay less than enjoyable. These issues were obvious and should have been addressed prior to our staying there. As such, we made do and didn't bother to contact the host.
This was a great place to stay for our family. Close to town and also to Sully Creek State Park for hiking & biking trails. Also close to Bully Pulpit if you are a golfer. We were very happy with the property. Nice little deck w/chairs & table and a gas grill.
We had a great stay. Cabin was clean, though bathroom door wouldn't stay shut and switch for fan didn't work. We had trailers around us, but folks were friendly and quiet.. beautiful views of scenery, even deer walking through the buttes.
Awesome location for a little cabin in the Badlands
Not the fanciest of cabins and there are RV hookups right outside but… location location location! Beautiful badlands surround. The outdoor deck w grill is sweet! Less than 5 min drive from Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park. You can walk to the Sully Creek State Park and the Ma Daa Hey Trail (best views)
It was exactly as described. My husband and I my and 87 year old mother stayed here for a week, it was quiet and the surroundings were beautiful. There are campers parked next to you but you would never know it as it was super quiet. Sitting out on the porch in the evenings was so peaceful. The kitchen is equipped for six people so we did bring paper plates and plastic silverware along with spices for the few times we cooked in. Will definitely rent it again.
Clean, good location, nice accommodations. major issue. The TV did not work, showed an error. Asked it be fixed as one evening was a special program. No one replied. Sad. And we were required to do the laundry or charged a fee. Watch that when reserving
The unit was very clean and tidy. There were 4 of us, college buddies from the past on our annual golf outing. We spent a great deal of time on the deck b.s.ing and watching the antelope and whitetail on the hills to the north and northeast. We came to golf Bully Pulpit (minutes to the south) and we ventured into Medora (minutes to the north). There are camping slots in close proximity to the cabin, but we hardly knew there were other people there. Everyone was either very quiet and respectful or gone doing tourist stuff. When informed of the empty propane tank on the grill Brad was there (easily within 30 minutes), with a new tank; talk about service! As far as the linens and towels go, if you want to get on the road early, you can inform housekeeping that you will be leaving before 9:00 a.m. and then you will not be responsible to get the laundry into the dryer.
