We stayed for two nights and had a very good time. We specially loved the detailed decoration, the good equipped kitchen and the fireplace.
This is the perfect place for a getaway from work.
We had a great week relaxing and fishing at Howard Prairie Lake. The cabin was cozy and clean. We enjoyed the birds and the stars were amazing. We will return to this slice of Heaven near Crater Lake! Plenty of room outdoors for family fun!
We live within a couple of hours -- and this was the perfect spot to get a little respite from the heat, enjoy a gorgeous view of the lake (with access just a few minutes drive), and play badminton all weekend. We'll be back.
We had a lovely relaxing week at Hyatt lake. Don was communicative and helpful. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The view and location is serene and lovely. Amazing stars! We will hopefully return!
The house was so cozy and comfortable. A sit on the porch swing and the lovely view of the prairie and lake! Host was so helpful and so accommodating!!
This was a great place! We enjoyed playing horseshoes, badminton, and cooking s’mores and spending time with the family. It was great to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The property is beautiful!
We came up to do some short hikes on the Pacific Crest Trail, and this is a great location for that -- there are a bunch of trailheads in the vicinity that are easy to get to. When not hiking, we had a cozy cabin to lounge around in with all of the amenities and a lovely view out the living room window. We especially appreciate the flexibility in being able to bring our dogs with us. Thanks, Don!
If you want away from everything this is your place. Very quiet and peaceful.
Loved the porch setting and enjoyed porch swing. The view was beautiful. Got a visit from two cute pups early one morning from close by :)
We had fun riding the go cart and power scooter, wish the grass in the field was a bit shorter there is some logs/wood in the grass that is a shocker when you hit it lol… overall great getaway
The cabin is beautiful, quiet, clean, and with all the amenities. The view from the back deck is also beautiful with the water, trees, and lots of nature to appreciate. The only disappointment was that access to the lake was not ideal for kayaking. Nevertheless, we enjoyed badmitten, horseshoes, and playing games so it provided great family time. Don was easy and quick to communicate with.

last minute getaway
this was our first time booking a cabin we were a little nervous about staying somewhere so far away in the middle of nowhere no cell service especially since we arrived at night and couldn't see anything the road was dark and couldn't find the cabin but once we finally arrived and entered the cabin that all changed the cabin was amazing had everything we needed it was more than what we expected we were lucky to be able to find it since it was a last minute adventure all our troubles were worth it if you are looking to escape from the city and get in touch with nature this is the place to be
Came with family for a "glamping" weekend (some of us can still camp in tents and some of us can't). Was a perfect balance of nature and amenities. Spent much time on the porch enjoying the milder weather in the hills. Put up a tent, and the kids (21 and 24) enjoyed the outdoor experience, while us old folks with CPAPs slept indoors. Had lots of fun with the frisbee golf and horseshoes. Close to great trails. Had friends and family for dinners cooked on the grill. So fun! The cabin itself is an amazing mix of modern conveniences and rustic history, and decorated accordingly! Count us as future regulars.

Great location, Not Entirely Sanitized and Clean
Great getaway location, great view of the lake and the meado from back deck, although NO laundry facilities, which should have been EMPHASIZED in listing, could be a major factor if a simple one or two small loads needs doing, by far the only property I have stayed that does NOT offer laundry facilities out of my travels in the U.S., Europe, Asia. Major issues-cleanliness and sanitation, poor-kitchen surfaces and appliances were grimy and sticky, greasy, food stuck in some utensils, , toaster is cheap and burns plastic smell even at low-1-2 setting-very toxic to lungs and health, shower liner had lingering odor and needs replacement-a new liner should be used for every new booking as shower liners carry bodily fluids that can be dispersed from the person who is showering. I am in holistic healthcare with a COVID-19 certification for risk prevention, and worked in trauma and outpatient clinic settings, and also had over two decades of 5-star hospitality housekeeping quality assurance behind me during my corporate career, so, needless to say, I am very familiar as a healthcare professional on what is REALLY CLEAN and SANITIZED, and what has only been touched up. I had to do a 30-45 inspection with cleaning and sanitization on my own before settling down my stuff just anywhere because after what I saw, I just did not trust how really clean and sanitized this place was. So, to make my stay healthy-safe, I put on latex gloves and performed cleaning/sanitation. Great cycling roads!
