If you are from colder regions then don't choose this hotel. I switched rooms because the ac didn't make it cool in the first room. It was hot. Even in the second room it was a bit cooler but moist. Hard to sleep. The rooms conditions aren't up to date or the date of the 21th century. If i were you i would choose either asean international or karibia hotel. There is a very good pool and gym available to guests. Communication for Westerners can be difficult with their staff at times, and requests may be overlooked or ignored although if you speak with reception they will try and assist. My only criticism is that there are no safes in the rooms and believe that they would be a good addition. Comfortable beds. Close to Sun Plaza, the best mall in town, only 5 minutes walk. The taxi for the hotel did not use meters and took overprice compared to official taxies in town. We had ordered a nonsmoking room but got a smoking room. Changed room the next day to a nonsmoking floor/ room but with an ashtray in the room. The room smelled like smoke, and during weekend there were smokers all over. In the restaurant for breakfast it was allowed to smoke all over. Good breakfast. It is not close to the airport.
