It feels like you’re stepping back in time, in a good way. Everything was very comfortable and clean. The interior and decor all felt very authentic and honored the history of the property. The host was exceptionally helpful and responsive. I had to extend my stay unexpectedly and he was quick to assist and make sure I had everything I needed. The cabin is about 20 minutes from campus. We arrived after dark and had to drive by a couple of times to make sure we had the right place. (My fault though for not throughly reading the checkin instructions on location!) The cabin itself is charming, super clean, and the host emailed to check on us several times. I wish we had had time to enjoy the outdoor spaces! It is welcoming and cozy and makes the most efficient use of space. The natural surroundings are beautiful and instantly calming. When we pulled in the rock driveway we immediately saw “the falls” and realized we’d be able to hear the Creek from our screened in porch, Jackpot! Our Vrbo is sitting right next the renovated & historic Meadows Mill House. The inside and backyard of our Vrbo is much more impressive than the outside. Everything is exactly as described but just a heads up about 2 things. 1) The couch lays completely flat (we didnt realize for 2 nights) so take the back of the couch down. :) 2) This Vrbo is right next to a rural road, you will definitely hear cars/trucks at night unless you use the powerful sound machine that was provided.
