"Our stay at The Secluded Sanctuary was absolutely wonderful! The property was true to all of the pictures and exceptionally clean. The layout was incredibly roomy and comfortable, making it easy for us to relax and settle right in.The location is the best of both worlds—it truly feels like a quiet sanctuary, yet it is conveniently close to plenty of shopping and restaurants. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish, and the check-in/out process was seamless and stress-free. We also really appreciated that the house rules were very reasonable and common for any homeowner—nothing over the top. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We’re excited to stay here again and would highly recommend this home to anyone!"

"i booked a room with double beds for 2 nights back in August 2025 to attend a graduation ceremony. when arriving to check in late at night the front door was closed there was a note taped to the door that the hotel is sold out and for emergencies to make a call. I did, Angie came and checked us in, a double bed room wasn't available only a room with one kind bed, I was left with no choice but to take it. when arriving to the room the door was half way open. above all the sink got clogged and the restroom as well. the following day Angie made her best to make it right and we were switched to another room with 2 beds on the first floor as requested. generally the room was in good condition with all amenities as mentioned. cleaning wise for the most parts was good but the floor, mainly the bathroom wasn't clean."

"I am a disabled female confined to a wheelchair due to a broken hip. I paid for a 2 Bed Room REQUESTING a room on the FIRST Floor because I am unable to climb the 12 steps they have to the second floor at this location. I requested a First Floor Room online on HOTELS.Com website. Upon arrival at 7 PM the manager advised me my room was on the second floor and there were no elevators at this motel. I asked him if anyone on the first floor who had not checked in if they would be willing to switch to the second floor with two beds. He said NO without 1 ounce of compassion towards my situation. Please be advised this Motel is not in a safe area in case you're traveling with young children. The manager would not refund the money I prepaid for our 2-Night Stay in Gainesville."
