New Kitchen, Master Bath, and Living Room Renovation! Living Room Fireplace added! This charming log home, located in Massanutten Resort, is a perfect retreat for your group. Soak up the beautiful setting from the peaceful screened porch or the luxurious hot tub! The main level features a spacious open floor plan including a family room with vaulted ceiling, and dining area that seats 10\. Additional seating is available at the countertop. Kitchen offers two dishwashers to make meal clean ups a breeze. Downstairs is the rec room with a ping pong table, smart TV, DVD player and Wii. 6 bedrooms, 3.5 baths Bedroom 1: Main level, king bed, ensuite bath with tiled, two-person shower, screened porch access Bedroom 2: Downstairs, queen bed and twin bed and trundle twin Bedroom 3: Downstairs, 2 twin beds, attached to bedroom 2 Bedroom 4: Upstairs, king bed Bedroom 5: Upstairs, king bed Bedroom 6: Upstairs, 2 twin beds Futon in upstairs loft area All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available. The driveway fits 2-4 cars depending on size. Extra cars may be parked in resort lots. Guests may use the garage but may not park in it. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am during which time the noise from the house shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents. This home has designated parking (a driveway). All tires must be off the roadway if parked on the road. Do not block fire hydrants. Do not park in front of another property. There is an overflow parking area if needed, located at 4007 Peak Drive, Massanutten. Buses, campers, and RV’s may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed. No open fires permitted in Massanutten. This is a high wildfire risk area! Fires are strictly prohibited at this property and in the community shared spaces. Grills may be restricted during local emergency conditions. No illegal substances are permitted at the home and open containers of alcohol are prohibited on any road or common area. Pre-approved dogs are required to be on a leash when outside. You must clean up after your pets. All Trash must be taken to the dumpsters located at 4007 Peak Drive, Massanutten, at check out. A minimum fee of $75 will be assessed if trash is not removed. Trash may not be left outside the home as it will attract wildlife which could endanger you and damage the property. Trash should be removed regularly. No smoking inside the house. Smoking in the house will incur a $750 fine. Smoking is allowed outside of the house, but all butts are to be cleaned up and safely removed. \*\*\*Pre-Approved Dogs are allowed for a $100 per-dog fee (plus tax), maximum of 2 dogs \*This home is located in the woods. Plenty of parking for 4 vehicles in driveway and driveway is pretty flat area compared some of the very steep driveways we have in other areas of the resort. I highly recommend this house for families, as we had 13 with us and could have brought several more with no problems. Ample room for everyone. Clean and comfortable. We did nearly get stuck trying to get out of the very steeply inclined gravel driveway. If there had been any ice or snow we would have had to be towed out. So if you don’t have 4 wheel drive you’ll need to park on the street and carefully walk to the house. There is no backyard or place for children to play outdoors (especially since there was no snow) which was difficult. But there is plenty to drive to to engage the children. (Tricky when half your grandkids have to take naps). There is a finished basement and a hot tub however, so we made do with the spaces when we couldn’t get away from the house. The kitchen was nicely appointed and there are TWO dishwashers!!! What a blessing for a group our size. I’m hoping the homeowner gets the note that the stunning light fixture in the living room was rendered useless by the blinding fluorescent office light bulbs. Some soft yellow bulbs would make a MASSIVE difference. There is a gas fireplace which we enjoyed every day and the Christmas decor put up by the property company was very much appreciated. Compared to other places we thought it was one of the nicer places with plenty of supplies in the kitchen. Lots of blankets for all the beds.
