"Stayed one night for a concert. Completed the pre check-in process prior to arrival but never received an entry pin, so we went through check-in again at the desk. Discovered the issue for not receiving a pin was due to an issue with the lock for our door (they use Yale smart locks). An employee was working to fix it, but this delayed us being fully checked in by about 20 minutes. When we finally got our pin and could head up to our room, the lock still wasn’t working; we were about to head back to the front desk when an employee exited the room (he said he was working on the wifi). He assured us the lock was functioning and he was calling tech support to mitigate the WiFi issue, but we were okay to enter the room, leave our things and head to the concert. We stopped at the front desk prior to leaving and informed them the lock still wasn’t working, so they gave us the physical key for the lock and told us they would continue to work to fix both the lock and now the WiFi as well. We came back to the hotel around 2am and tried both the pin and key - neither worked. Again, we were about to head down to the desk when we realized the door was unlocked and we (or anyone for that matter) could just walk into our room. We found the lock partially disassembled on the kitchen island. Staff was extremely pleasant and were working to fix things, but it was frustrating and concerning that our door was left unlocked for who knows how long while we were out."

"This gorgeous classic hotel in the heart of Pittsburgh is an easy walk to anywhere in the downtown area, the North Shore including PNC park and the Warhol Museum, and to the South Shore's Station Square area and the lower Monongahela incline. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was helpful. The hotel offers valet parking, but a less expensive option is right across the street in the Mellon Square parking garage (where we parked). The hotel has a grand lobby and several options for drinks and dining including a speakeasy in the basement and a good coffee shop. If you are staying in this hotel or any other Omni, be sure to join the Omni Select Guest loyalty program for extra perks such as drink vouchers and room upgrades."

"GREAT location! It was well within walking distances to all areas downtown, PNC park, and the beautiful park directly across the street. The river view was well worth the price. Double queen room was a little smaller than typical but plenty of space for my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children under 10). Pool was comfortable with an AMAZING view as well. Staff were fantastic at helping with directions, places to go, etc."

"My flight landed very early and I needed an early check in at 8am. They were very gracious and provided me the early check in opposed to checking in at 4pm. So thank full for this! Room was spacious and clean. Staff very nice and helpful."
