Quiet Retreat
Location was the primary attraction. We were in town for a family holiday within close proximity to the rental. The tiny house has everything you need to feel at home. We slept well. Enjoyed coffee on the deck. Watched the river slip by.

Oh Em Gee!!
Oh Em Gee!! That was my reaction when I got to the property. When I walked in then I was in shocked because I wasnt expenting so much coziness. The sound of the peace & quiet was the best part if you are looking to relax. You will find everything that you need in this lit cabin. The owner is so nice and very reponsive. Thank You so Much to both of you for sharing this Hideaway cabin with us!! We wil def come back!

Beautiful area/small cabin
Suwanee Hides is in a beautiful location, right on the Suwanee River. Enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen supplies. Unfortunately, the new owners had not hooked up internet so we could not watch the tv or use wi-fi. Also, a washing machine was supposed to be included, and it wasn't. I don't like to complain but I would mention these were advertised and not there. Other than that, we loved the little "patio" in the back yard above the river. And the location. Last thought, wish there had been more seating for 3 people but too small for that! Location was everything!

Off the hook
Very peaceful and quiet, I let my friend take the down stairs room while I took the loft room, very steep stairs going up but it was ok because all I did was sleep there, I'm pushing 60 so I don't no how long I could do that, think it's for the kids is my bet but nice cozy cabin, we enjoyed every minute we were there.fishing, relaxing by the river, if your going to fish bring big tackle, there are huge catfish in this river, awesome place would love to go back sometime and go to the springs and explore more, thanks for letting us enjoy this moment 👍

Great Cabin on The Suwannee!
Our stay at The Hideaway was great! Spoke with Connie on the first day and Dean stopped by to make sure everything was all set for us. The first night there was a huge thunder and rainstorm which we enjoyed from inside our cozy cabin. The weather was chilly in the morning, but the combination Daikin heater and AC unit kept us warm in the morning and cool as the day warmed up. We had breakfast at the bistro table and watched the Suwannee from the window. During the day we spent time sitting along the river as kayakers paddled by. It was a fun time and we hated to pack up and leave. We hope to come back and visit soon. Thank you Connie & Dean

Everything was awesome! The place was so fantastic! Great location, great owner! She even did my laundry for me!!! Only recommendation would be to work on the bikes - only one was ride-able.

Family getaway
Fun and quiet spot to getaway for a while and reconnect with family and nature. Beautiful property and surroundings. The dock and dockhiuse was outstanding! The welcoming touches and care from the owners was top notch.

Peaceful Weekend Getaway
We desperately needed a weekend away to unwind and spend some time together. Constance is a great host and we really appreciated her communication with us. The rental was perfect and we had everything we needed. Kayaking during the day and enjoying the sunsets along with sounds of nature on the beautiful private riverside porch was amazing!

From the cute and well stocked house, the pretty yard, the great location away from any husstle and then obviously the platform at the water... this was a 3 day stay in paradise!! We couldn’t have asked for a more percent get away - kayaking, swimming, fishing, and riding bikes!
Best experience ever and looking forward to returning in the future. The cabin has everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay. We wanted for nothing! We enjoyed kayaking, swimming, hiking, fishing, riding bikes and s’mores over the fire. The entire overall experience completely exceeded my expectations.

Perfect cabin on the river
We loved this property. It was tucked away in the woods on the river but still close enough to take a trip to town. We made campfires every night and went kayaking down the river. We laid in the little gazebo, and out on the dock. The place was perfect for 4 people. We stayed in the loft which was adorable. The house is spotless and very well decorated and cared for. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfection!
My family of 4 had the absolute best time at the Hideaway. The kids (ages 13 and 5) loved them loft bedroom. We were hoping for a property where we could escape reality for a few days and this was the perfect one for us. The grounds had a fire pit and a grill, both of which we used every night. The porch overlooking the water was beautiful and the ramp down to the dock, while a bit scary for those of us with an irrational fear of heights, was actually a part of our family fun everyday as we would venture down to the water together multiple times a day. The book on property was very helpful with letting us know where we could go for groceries, food, shops, etc. Check in and check out process was seamless. When I titled this summary “perfect”, I meant it. There isn’t a single thing any of us would have changed. While my 5 year old kept repeating “I wish we could live here”, we did assure him that we hope to return next year. Thank you, Hosts, for a refreshing week away with my family!

Amazing weekend away!!
If you are looking for time to get away from the busy lifestyle, this is perfect for you!!! The cabin was the absolute perfect weekend getaway in private and safe area! There was everything on property that we needed from outdoor to indoor supplies. The town was very small, only minutes away, and had a few nice places to grab a bite to eat. There are many springs in the area and things to do! Will definitely be back for another relaxing trip.

Even perfect grass!
Not only is it better than advertised, but its the first Suwannee Cabin I've stayed in that had perfectly manicured grass, which says a lot. The town of Mayo makes me want to move there. Owner went out of her way to help and answered tons of questions about the area, VRBO, etc. Other property owners could learn a lot here.

Wonderful Stay at the Suwannee River Hideaway
There are not enough great things to say about this property! Pictures do not do justice to the serenity you find at this tiny cabin with access to the Suwannee River. The host was easy to communicate with and provided many cute and helpful amenities. Although small, the cabin has plenty of room for 2-4 adults, a full kitchen for cooking, and more than enough outside space which is where you will most likely spend all of your time! Although the river was high and we were not able to go kayaking, we brought our inner tubes and tied them to the dock to float for hours! We cannot wait to stay here again in the future.

Swans on the Sueannnee
One of the best experiences as a Floridian to date. The Suwannee Hide Away was nothing short of magical. Such a precious and special place to experience as you can tell the property owners spared no expense in creating a dream like atmosphere on such a beautiful piece of land right on the river. For a tiny home it was a huge experience of joy and awe for my kids and myself. My only regret was not staying a few more days just to enjoy the property itself as we spent most of our time at the springs. The hideaway deserves to be a getaway all in its own with everything they have provided there for you to enjoy you don’t need to leave the property once you arrive. We can’t wait to go back.

Great tiny house with lots of amenities
The cabin itself is tiny, but cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware, seasoning, condiments, almost everything you could need. The water smelled liked sulfur, but that's to be expected with a well system. Just bring plenty of bottled water. The kayaks were great to have to get to Telford spring. The ramp to the dock was steep, but accessible. Overall, we can't wait to go again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Very clean cabin. There were a couple things we needed that were not there, but not a big deal to run up to Dollar Store. Loved the quiet neighborhood. Bring groceries. The closest major grocery chain in Live Oak. We saw so many stars in the night sky and fireflies. Kayaks and bikes, also. What more could anyone ask for??!! Beautiful!!

Loved our midweek stay in this cute cabin. had everything we needed, and it's extremely private. During the weekend, you might have a few more neighbors, but this is at the end of the road. We used the kayaks to paddle over to Telford springs, and enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the river. Had a fire in the fire ring one night, and I love taking pictures of birds, and got several new ones for my life list. Would love to return in the future. Thanks to the great owners!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was the perfect spot to relax and chill, loved being able to use the kayaks and bicycles. It rained every evening while we were there (surprise surprise, it’s Florida in the summer) so we didn’t get to take advantage of the bikes very much. My ONLY suggestion to improve the property would be to have some sort of walk way from the driveway to the porch then from the porch to the dock, otherwise everything was GREAT!!!! Will be returning to spend more time there and will recommend to all friends and family looking for a relaxing spot to chill.

The Tiny House was very comfortable, everything we needed was available. The Gazebo and Dock were beyond expected. The neighbors were above and beyond friendly and helpful. Love this tiny home
Very nice, new little cabin/trailor. Very easy to find and was very close to Telford springs. Easily fit me, my wife, my brother and his wife. Theirs not a launch point from the home due to a big hill but we were still able to launch. Very quiet when we visited. Only bad thing to say about this place is beware of the locals they are not friendly at all. Overall we loved our stay and would stay again in the future

Not what expected.
I rented two properties for each of my daughters families. The other property was great, but unfortunately this one was not. The tiny house is new and clean, but the table only accommodates two and the bedroom mattress sinks inward and they are small people. There was no coffee maker. The property advertises being on the river which it is but the bluff is so high and woodsy that one could not see nor get down to the water and there is no dock. The owners told me they would be building a dock at the end of the summer. There is no way to get to Telford Springs unless you have a truck to take a boat or kayaks to a boat landing. There needs to be a visible street number to identify the property. It took several messages over a couple of days to get the address.

I’m sorry that you didn’t read the listing before booking. If you had, you would have seen that we did not have a dock at the time you booked. As for taking a few days to get you the address I do not recall it taking more than one call. By the way, we have since got a dock installed and it has a kayak launch to provide easy access to the water. If you would like to come try again, we would love to have you as our guest.
