The Old Church & Private Lodges | Countryside Escape
- Escape to The Old Church & Private Lodges, a unique and characterful countryside retreat set in a peaceful semi-rural location with beautiful views over the open Ayrshire countryside.
Full of original features and thoughtful touches, The Old Church offers a warm and welcoming space for family and friends to relax and spend time together. Enjoy cosy evenings beside the wood-burning stove, gather around the large bespoke dining tables, or head outside to the spacious south-facing covered deck with its fire pit and countryside views.
The main house features five individually designed bedrooms and can accommodate up to 12 guests, with a spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen, cosy reading snug, piano and table tennis. The ground floor is wheelchair friendly, with an accessible bedroom and ensuite wet room.
Within the grounds, just a short walk from the main house, are two secluded private lodges. Carrick and Kyle Lodges each sleep two guests and feature super king beds, ensuite facilities, kitchen and seating areas, and their own private covered decks. Carrick has an outdoor wood-burning stove, while Kyle offers a relaxing roll-top bath overlooking the countryside.
With a local grocery shop just a five-minute walk away and restaurants a short drive away, The Old Church & Lodges is an ideal base for a relaxing countryside getaway and memorable time together.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Keys should be returned to the key safes, with one set of keys for The Old Church left on the hook near the front door.
We ask that all furniture, both inside and outside, is returned to the positions as found when you arrived.
Please do let us know of any breakages or anything which isn't working such that we can rectify prior to the arrival of our next guests.
