Mt Rogers (tallest peak in Va) is close by, as are The Channels, which was my focus for this trip. This place can easily host 3-4 people, maybe even 5 if one wants to sleep on the couch. The beds were the best feature, super comfortable, best sleep of my life. You do have to climb up ladders to get to them, they're loft style, but I'd crawl over broken glass to get back to them.
