Great place to spend a vacation. It’s a studio not a one bedroom (the title of the listing says one bedroom), but it still works great. The place shows some wear but was clean and had what we needed.

Great unit with short walk to beach and shorter walk to pool. I was nervous about the sundry shop but turned out to be very well stocked store. The directions maps and recommendations by the owner were flawless he’s got a great place to stay.

This is by far the best VRBO experience I have had. I arrived at night when it was dark so when morning came, and I pulled the curtains up to reveal the view, I was awestruck! The view just doesn't get any better. I fell asleep to the sound of waves at night in a bed that was beyond comfortable. Everything you might need for a stay was in this condo, without being cluttered. The kitchen was especially well supplied with ANYTHING you might need for cooking, even a rice cooker. The beach is excellent for long walks and the pool area very nice. I was thankful for the nearly constant breeze, as this Alaskan girl can take only so much heat! There are wonderful beaches nearby (you will need a car) . Lots of lovely birds and wild turkeys on the grounds! Just can't say enough good things about this listing! Mahalo!

We were here in March 2023. Studio condo was very well equipped and larger than expected. High surf while we were there, but loved the roar of the ocean. Spent a lot of time on the lanai watching the waves break, sunsets, and whales. Definitely recommend renting a jeep to explore the island. Fascinated by the dilapidated buildings and used to be gold course. Walked miles everyday to many beaches. Loved it!

Although the drive was a little far for us for the wedding we were attending that weekend. The condo was such a nice getaway. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you can’t fall asleep to waves crashing. I grew up on the beach so it was a sweet melody for my lady and I. High surf. Beach not good for swimming but excellent for surfing and for experienced swimmers. Pool is well kept and it’s very quiet at night.

This property is fabulous, very well maintained and is stocked up with all the essentials to have a great time. The sunsets are perfect and the sounds of the ocean will put you to sleep every night. While my husband and I stayed at a place two doors to the left, Bill’s condo was taken by our son, an avid surfer who used everything opportunity to be in the water but also enjoyed the condo itself. There are many advantages for staying on the ground floor at this building. Everything is at your feet! Plus, the comfort of the smartly furnished and well stocked condo. Perfect in all regards!

The unit is in a great location , great view, close to the beaches, pool and the store. We really enjoyed the pace we settled into during our stay. Everything about our stay was great! The bed was so incredibly comfortable also! Usually places have mediocre beds at best but I always had a restful nights sleep. Plenty of appliances and everything we needed except for a dish drainer for the dishes. Maybe I missed it but otherwise everything was great. Thank you for accommodating our late check out request!

Fantastic beach location. If you like solitude, peace and great ocean views and swimming in the seas, this is the place to be. Very few people and downtown is about a 20 minutes away. Nice walks but the golf course is no longer in existence and the resort amenities are shut down except for the store and pool. Would return again to just unwind. :)

Great experience! Very quiet and owners did not bother. Truly was a full kitchen and sinset view was amazing. Was there for an event and other guests staying at another nearby property informed they were watched like hawks making their stay uncomfortable. But for us, we loved the location, the privacy, & the little store on site helped save time with our snack and additional food needs.

We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and Molokai is a special place I have always wanted to go since I learned about Father Damien and the settlement there when I was in grade school. Yet, I didn’t realize was what a beautiful almost unspoiled place the island would be. Bill’s condo was everything we needed and located close to the beach with a great ocean view. The first day we even saw a “honu” (sea turtle) when we were snorkeling of the coast right by the condo! I appreciated the kitchen set up, which was accommodating and useful. We ate there most every meal! And, the Murphy bed was comfortable and gave us so much room during the day. You could tell they put a lot of time and energy into making the space both livable and lovely. Our stay was a once in a lifetime experience which we will remember and cherish for years. Thank you, Bill!

The unit was small which was known ahead of time. The only concern we had was we assumed a washer/dryer in the unit but it was a community one that took quarters ( I rarely have cash let alone coins). Unit was fine for a beach unit. It was wonderful to stay on the beach. It is sad that Molokai is depressed. The resort we were in is over 1/2 shut down due to some internal politics on the island. It is an easy drive into the town with its 4 restaurants. The road to Halawa Valley makes the road to Hanna look easy. If you want to hike, get a 4-wheel drive to access the trail heads. Unit owner was super responsive. A very relaxing trip.

My wife and I enjoyed our two week stay very much. The view from the condo is wonderful, it was so relaxing to sit on the lanai and watch the ocean. The condo was clean, comfortable, and quiet The bed has a very comfortable mattress. The kitchen area is compact but well equipped and we were able to cook without any issues. The condo and the complex was quiet, uncrowded, and peaceful. The pool is very nice, clean, and well maintained. This is just a great place to come, relax, and recharge. We hope to return again some day.

First trip to Molokai of many. Right on the beach and next to the pool. Everything was great. The only downside (and it’s not a big deal now that I know), many VRBO’s have items like oil, spices, etc left by previous. This one did not - just know you need to bring it with you. In the end - plan to go shopping as few times as you can (20 min drive to town), turn off and tune in. Probably the most relaxed I have been in years. Mahalo Bill - great place. Already plannin our next stay.

We had a good time at this condo in the Kepuhi Beach resort complex. Of all the places in the resort this is definitely one of the best, location wise. It’s right by the beach with breathtaking views of the sunset from the lanai. Unfortunately, the place was not very clean, with all the handles of the drawers feeling sticky and the toilet seat was not cleaned properly. There was cleaning stuff so we just did it ourselves. It wasn’t terrible but still not a great first impression. The kitchen was relatively „new“ but the bathroom has had its best days long gone. Bill the owner was very responsive and helped us resolve a small issue of missing beach towels quickly so he was great. Overall is was a nice stay in an ok condo with incredible views.

The condo was very comfortable - loved the Murphy bed - so great to have all that floor space during the day! The location is hard to beat!! This was our second time staying at this gorgeous little spot on our favorite island. This condo is the perfect combination of convenience and quiet. We love picking up our groceries at Kumu Farms on the drive from the airport and spending our days hiking to all the little beaches that feel like our own private spots. The sound of the waves is the best while falling asleep - this is always the best sleep we have gotten in months. Thanks for another wonderful trip!

This was my second stay at Bill & Lainie’s very lovely condo ! I enjoyed my rest and relaxation there immensely. It’s located only a few hundred feet from the beautiful ocean and provides the most breathtaking and spectacular views! The sight and sounds of the crashing waves are mesmerizing. It’s the perfect location at Kepuhi Beach to get refreshed! This charming condo fills your heart with peace, tranquility, and serenity. The lanai has comfortable patio furniture and lounging chairs to relax in as you sip your morning coffee, savor a good book, or bask in the Kepuhi Sunset Show every evening…. There’s also a very comfy Murphy Bed and pillows that are extraordinaire ! It’s always very hard to leave when it’s time to go. Lastly but not least, Bill is always very accommodating, helpful, prompt, and courteous! I am definitely looking forward to my next stay at this beautiful condo again ! If you are looking to get away for total peace and quiet this is the place. A beautiful view and sunset. We totally recharged. Something we really needed. I gave 5 stars because it truly is paradise without lots of tourists. The salt water can wear on the bathroom fixtures and the red dirt stain the tub. But must note to that—the bathroom was very clean so it didn’t bother us. Thank you for the best of trips!

Moloka'i is off the beaten track as you know, and extra flight. Spent 2 weeks at Bill's ground floor studio condo with fantastic location, and modern, tasteful appointments. Very large for a studio! Looking right at the beach on Kepuhi Bay, and lava rock point of rock, helitrope tree frames the old fairway of the now defunct Kaluakoi Golfcourse. The lanai is spacious and he has comfortable chairs and table...no need to leave the lanai! Only 100 feet from an excellent ocean front pool. Inside, great care has been taken in the granite, sinks, cabinets, slow close doors, floor tiles, tropical knobs, sofa, lamps, and murphy bed with sealy posterpedic matress, new cook top with 4 burners, toaster, small library,coffee pot, flat screen TV, and full size fridge. Over head fan was nice! Small fan in full sized closet. All very quite new. His( He and and his wife that is) location is fabulous. Excellent communication with super info on the area and recommendations. This is the sunny and windy side of the island...which we loved ( in the summer). I am big 6 foot 5...mattress was okay..I prefer more cushion.....sheets were top of the line. Location was just incredible....close to beach. They keep the grounds well groomed. BBQ's in commons area are well kept with utensils...two big double stainless grills ( there are two locations of these in the large grass and coconut tree commons.....but they are about 200 yards away over the grass from Bill's...as his unit has a much closer location to pool and beach. Note: Kaluakoi Resort ( the old Sheraton built in 1975)has the nice units, along the water, with over 20 Tahitian Style Buildings ( 2 floors) away from the beach that are now closed and slowly deteriorating- since the resort closed back due to water woes and public opposition. But they keep the private owned places really looked after. You don't even notice the abandoned buildings as they are up the hill...and Bill's is waterfront. Grass is mowed, green, and all plants beautiful! For our two week stay ( I used to live in Honolulu so consider myself Kamaaina ( local) we unfortunately had two 20 year old women above us that played their music very loud and smoked a lot of marijuana throughout the day. It was bad, but not enough for me to knock on their door.:( The point is, you have people above you and to your sides...so noise travels easily in these units. Night sounds were of winds blowing in palms and the surf sounds. Molokai has the nicest people!!!!!!

Wow! If you’re looking for a real get away, this is your place. You will fall asleep to waves, and wake up to birds chirping. Make your coffee and breakfast, and get to enjoy it from your personal lanai in the morning watching the waves and rainbows. A short walk or drive will allow you access to several beautiful beaches for lounging and swimming. Bills red book of recommendations supplied at the condo was very well informative and you should make good use of it. If you like fishing, I recommend fishing with Joe who’s information I found in the book. He was laid back, fun and my husband and I both caught tuna which the cookhouse was so kind to offer to cook for us later. We declined only because, the chef had just made a fresh batch of Portuguese bean soup. It was delicious, so be sure to eat at the cookhouse. I also recommend the cultural hike with Greg to the waterfall. The queen Murphy bed is very comfortable. My husband is tall so I was worried we wouldn’t fit. It was quite the contrary. We fit well, slept like babies, and were well rested every morning. The kitchen was well equipped. I would go grocery shopping in town if you can before coming to condo to save a trip since the condo is on west side and store is central. I thought was not oven at first, but above the stove top is a microwave that has a built in convection oven. So you do have an oven. There are adequate towels and the bathroom is very spacious which for women is important. Large and spacious with 2 mirrors. It is supplied with plenty of towels. There is a nice sized closet with hangers for clothes. As well as drawers for other items. This way you don’t feel crammed all in the living area. Great rental! Million dollar view. This by far has been our favorite vacation. I loved the condo and will rent it again. I have already sent this VRBO link to my friends and just told them to not rent it on my birthday. ;)

This is one of those places that I always hesitate to leave a good review on, lest I have to share it with other people in the future... If you’re looking for peace, nature, and untouched Molokai, this is the spot you’re looking for. If you want to walk to handfuls of untouched beaches and uncommercialized coastline, book this place and unplug from reality. We can’t wait to return here to this perfect little place, to immerse ourselves in the spirit of Molokai again!

Our efficient studio was very comfortable and had a great view of the beach a short distance away. The pool was closed which was a shame as the surf was a little rough. There are several small secluded beaches to the north not to mention the beautiful beach a short hike away to the south.. We asked a small favor of Bill who responded quickly as well as favorably. This year our visit to Moloka'i was in celebration of our 8th Wedding Anniversary. We were married on Kepuhi beach (the little beach) 8 years ago. That year some of our daughters stayed in Bill's unit. Since then it has been remodeled - and was the perfect spot for our 10 night celebration get-away. We have stayed or visited all over the Kepuhi Beach Resort over the years (since the 90s). Bill's is one of the (small) handful we would recommend and/or rent again. The very comfortable Murphy bed creates a spaciousness during the day that you don't see in most studios. The kitchen has everything you might need, including a very serviceable coffee maker, blender, microwave/convection oven (I LOVE this), convection cooktop, full fridge, etc. And for anyone who loves to cook, (and has rented a substandard unit) the knives are sharp and there is plenty of very nice cookware! He's done a great job incorporating all of the things you would need into a compact space. We very much appreciated the beach chairs/beach towels and all of the hangers and drawers. Now that I've covered the practical... The view is astonishing, you are close enough to the beach (steps, really!) to hear the waves all night, even above the trades. It was never a bummer to leave the beach or the pool because our lanai never disappointed. Thank you, Bill, for sharing your slice of paradise. We will be back!!

The beachside location let me enjoy the beauty of the Hawaiian sunsets and the open sea raging on the stormy day. Everything I needed was at hand and easy to find. Day tours on unhurried roads and trails filled out the need for a wandering spirit!
