The home is designed with all modern conveniences and is located less than a 5 minute walk to Love Lane (Mattituck's charming downtown), Veteran's Beach (one of the best beaches in Northfork) and the Mattituck train station. It is a place to relax, unwind and enjoy all that North Fork has to offer The home was fully renovated (top to bottom) with central air, new kitchen, large living room, cozy reading nook, custom furniture, washer and dryer, BBQ grill, firepit, lawn games, wifi, TV's in every room, Sonos speakers and more. It has a large yard and the owners were very friendly and responsive. We liked the area and the small neighborhood beach was inviting, clean and very relaxing. There is a life guard on duty. The cabin was nicely appointed, however there are some areas of concern. The bedrooms are very small and the beds are barely queen size. Some of the furniture is a bit worn or has spots. The back porch was nice, however it was not clean. The place was listed with sleeping opportunities for 6 people, I think with 2 adults and 2 children the max capacity is reached. Centrally located on the north fork, Mattituck is the perfect spot and home base for our stay. The house was just the right space for us. We enjoyed the covered back porch and big back yard.
