This is one of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. The house was modern, decorated very tastefully and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay in the Peak District. It was a perfect home base for touring the area and ta couple of walks during our six day visit. Communication with the host was excellent, including instructions on locating the property, check in/out and even some restaurant recommendations for nearby spots. We wanted to stay somewhere that had character, had been recently, and tastefully refurbished, had a large open plan kitchen, and enough space both inside and out for 2 adults, and 3 young people (17, 14, and 10), and was in The Peak District. The Barn was perfect - I arranged a last minute, long weekend stay, with the help of the property's fantastic host, Pamela. Pamela was the perfect host, and responded quickly to any questions I had.
