Matawatchan Provincial Park

The staff were welcoming, but didn’t make clear to us how to find out suite and a lot of time was a spent wandering the wrong building of the the two that make up the compleax. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was attentive. The accommodation, however, was less than desirable. The furnishings were from, I would guess, the 80’s. The bed was soft and the fold out couch and occasional chair badly needed replacing - particularly the springs in the chair. The bathroom sink plug didn’t work and the maintenance people solved that by removing it entirely. Bath towels and wash cloths were supplied but no hand towels. We had to have the tech people around twice to try to make the TV useable and, even then, there was no way to access a guide - even the tech team was puzzled.
