"This was a beautiful hotel in a beautiful area of Norway. The hotel was family run and the staff were kind and knowledgeable. The rooms were lovely and comfortable and the buffet was delicious. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and had one of the best meals we had on our trip through Norway. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay again if we were in the area."

"Lovely place to stay. Quiet and peaceful, incredible views. Kitchen was more than adequate and the farm stand down the road was a great place for fresh produce. I suggest doing the hike up to the stave church. Make sure to buy groceries- not too many restaurants nearby. Also, if you want wine or anything stronger than beer, you must plan accordingly as there are no liquor stores nearby. The garbage is to be left out n some bins a hundred yard to the left of the driveway. Enjoy the stay- it’s a wonderful place to recharge!"

"The room was tiny with no room on either side of the bed. It worked well for a one-night stay for the two of us. Oscar provided an extension cord for a CPAP machine. The breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed talking with the other guests about the area. We even discovered that we had a mutual connection through ancestral farms in Skjåk. Her ancestors were Bøye and mine are listed as Bøje, which appear to be variations of the same name."

"Such an historic beautiful old hotel in Solvorn, Norway for our last stay before leaving the country. We just so happened to arrive the evening of the biggest storm in the last 25 years and our room was right in front of the ferry/dock to see all the action. As we arrived later in the day we were too exhausted to dine there so they brought us nice sandwiches and champagne upon arrival too."
