Custom home with exceptional upgrades ready for your stay! Home has total of 7 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and sleeps 14 (rate indicated is for first 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Additional guest rooms available for additional rate). All rooms have boutique hotel style mattresses and bedding. House has open concept living space with gorgeous views of river, Lizard Butte and Marsing Bridge. Entertainment space abundant! Large game room with pool table, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, television and large game table. Upper deck with barbecue and seating as well as lower patio and perfectly manicured lawn.
Exceptional upgrades and amenities for your comfort and enjoyment. Home is located in the quaint town of Marsing; right in the middle of Idaho’s wine country. Several vineyards within minutes! Also only a quick 40 minute scenic drive to Boise. Lots of restaurants, shopping and entertainment no more than 20 minutes away.

Nightly rate includes 4 large guest rooms and two bathrooms. Access to each additional guest room is $55 per room per night and access to the third bathroom is available when booking 5 or more guest rooms. Additional cleaning fee may be applied based on increased guest count.

Loved the view of the Snake River

This house was great. Well stocked and plenty of towels for everyone. We rented the whole house and there was lots of room in the game room and upstairs for everyone to be comfortable. We had a very nice time.

Sister Weekend

We stayed for Sister Weekend and toured the Idaho Wine Country as well as hiking in the beautiful Owyhee Canyons. The location is perfect for both. The view of the river is amazing!

A Perfect Place

This VRBO is located in a great place, close to trails and our wedding venue at St. Chappelle Winery. It is well equipped, clean and a perfect family gathering place. The manager was very responsive when I had a question! Thanks for a "perfect place" to stay.

Great Location for Five Couples

We chose this property because of it's closeness to the Boise area and it's many rooms. Overall it was wonderful. All of the members of our group commented on how much they liked the house. The game room was a big hit and we enjoyed hanging out on the back deck.

Riverside getaway

We really enjoyed our time at this property, such beautiful views of the river. We used all 7 bedrooms with 12 adults and 2 children. The layout of the house is fabulous, they provided everything you might need from linens to kitchen items. The downstairs play area was a huge hit with the ping pong table to the pool table and the owners were great to work with. Definitely would stay here again if we're back in that area.

Enjoying Marsing House

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Marsing house. The house was well equipped with kitchen equipment, a great game room, a dock for fishing. Coming back in warmer weather would be also enjoyable. Thanks for opening up your home.

Family event

Originally planned for family of 8 but only 3 of us went due to unforeseen circumstances. We were unable to cancel so we went to make the most of the vacation . The view, the peacefulness of property was nice. The house would be perfect for a large family, nicely set up and lots to do. We didn’t utilize the home as planned but would recommend for a family gathering .

Birthday Weekend

This property was perfect for our son’s 21st birthday. Marsing is a peaceful little town but has everything we needed within 1/2 mile of the house. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating to our changing needs. 20 mins from Nampa and Caldwell but it felt closer than that. Lots of fun things to explore close by however we didn’t have time this trip to take many of them in. We definitely will be back! Thank you!

A Rural Stay

The house was absolutely beautiful and well maintained. This was the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever stayed in. Kids had fun fishing in the river and we enjoyed touring wineries and driving through all the beautiful orchards. Bought a box of the best tasting peaches and incredible sweet corn at local farm stand. The only problem was the barbecue is in need of a good cleaning so we only used it one time.

Awesome! So Much To Do!

Well designed beautiful home with dock on the Snake River all in the middle of wine tasting country. Great for small & large gatherings. Well-equipped Kitchen supports multiple dining scenarios, including relaxing patio deck, formal dining room & kitchenette. The younger crowd loved the huge game & TV room. Fishing, boating & paddle boarding easily accessible from the dock. We were gathered together as a family ranging from ages 8 - 92 and everyone had a blast!!

Beautiful home

visiting from Louisiana and had family from Idaho join us . We all had a great time between the awesome game room and the beautiful river in fact my husband caught 3 fish( after 7pm ) the only problem we encountered was the trash cans were full when we arrived ( trash pickup is Friday) host responded quickly to email. problem was solved quickly due to the extremely nice neighbors on either side that allowed us to use their cans until trash service passed … we also had a few conversations with one neighbor due to the fact that my granddaughters loved her dogs..

Breathtaking View

This house checked all the boxes. Close to wineries, clean, cozy and entertaining. While several adults were setting up winery for wedding, the young people had plenty to do. There was no boredom. Morning sunrises were spectacular! Owners answered my question prior to our arrival quickly. Would definitely stay there again, especially if we are attending an event in the Sunnysloop area. Thanks for helping make my daughter's wedding less painfully with a long drive back and forth. Until next time!!!

Wonderful home and trip!

My extended family and I had the pleasure of meeting up from various states and coming together in this beautiful home! We ended up having 13 people total and had plenty of space for everyone! The Home is amazingly appointed with everything you could need and more! You can tell that the owners take great pride in their home and it showed in all of the details! My family and I have discussed coming back during the summer months to enjoy with the outdoors had to offer as well. We were so thankful to have had the opportunity to all get together during the cold months. The owners of the home makes the rental process simple and easy! This is a definite YES for anyone wondering where to stay near Nampa or Boise area!

Base of Exploration

We were 6 ladies from the Willamette Valley coming to see a part of Oregon (Owyhee) that most of us had not seen. This lovely home was a wonderful, comfortable place to return to after our hiking or sightseeing. We had everything we needed at the house and a wonderful view as well. Fun to watch fish jump in the river. One of us saw beavers and there were quite a few Canadian geese on the river also. This is a nice, quiet neighborhood and Marsing is a pleasant little town. I don't know that you could find a nicer house closer to Leslie Gulch or Jordan Valley. So pleased to have this house to stay in.

Family vacation at the River Retreat

River Retreat was perfect for our family. So much space made it comfort for everyone. The views are Beautiful and never get old to wake up to. The peacefulness and atmosphere and again the views made everything just more perfect! The town is so cute and really there is so much to do. OC coffee down the road is adorable and good coffee and hospitality is served. I think my 1 and only small complaint would be the army of gnats that come out at night but that’s life by the River. We would definitely come back! Thank you Margie for always being available for my random questions. This was our first time staying in a VRBO and you made the experience perfect!

Large home with everything you would need

This was a perfect place for our group of 14 to rent while we got ready for a wedding right down the road. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. It had everything you needed from linens, to kitchenware and fishing poles. The river out back was a nice touch; we caught several bass and catfish over the weekend. A few things to be cautious about: the knives in the kitchen are all dangerously dull, there are 2 cameras that we saw that we did not know about when we first booked the place, the listing is a little misleading about the extra rooms and bathroom that you had to pay extra for, the check-out cleaning process was very extensive. Overall the house is definitely worth it and I would surely book here again. Thanks!

Great location, but could use some extra TLC

The house is large and has almost everything you need. Very bright and light and rooms are comfortable. We really enjoyed the game area and had lots of fun playing and spending time together as a family. However, the cleanliness was not what I was expecting, especially given the cost of the cleaning fee AND the extensive check out requirements. Host should really post these on the listing because they far exceed any other requirements I have had to do before when staying at places like this. You are basically doing 80% of the cleaning when you check out. The kitchen is 100% cleaned by the previous renters. This meant all cups, bowls, plates, silverware....everything wasn't very clean. I had to clean the stove top before our first use because it was sticky with grease. Food was left in one of the ovens from the previous renters, showing the cleaning crew doesn't really check everything. What else did they miss? We used the BBQ and it was disgusting (plus located on the bottom floor, not the top deck as listed). There was a beautiful set of windows that overlooked the river from the kitchen breakfast nook. But it was GROSS! Looks like the cleaning crew hasn't wiped or dusted a window in several months. And you cannot use the outdoor furniture. It was covered in dirt and grime. Overall, we had a good time because we chose to make the best of it but I will definitely look for a different location next time we come to this area.

Heavenly Stay by the Snake River

Outstanding property with every amenity you could ask for. Great fishing. Lots for the kids to do. Beautiful hikes and views. Definitely would come back here again with my family.
