"Friendly staff, nice and clean rooms, breakfast was very good and reasonably priced compared with hotel brands I’ve been to before (similar to Hilton Garden Inn). Hotel was a Four Points but is experiencing a rebranding. My group also loved the hot tub and pool, and they said the burger from the Tavern was a hit! Very great place to stay if visiting San Rafael or just passing through on 101\. I’d definitely book again in the future. "

"I loved the weird 70s decor in the room. Lots of funky lamps, so -- well lit! I do think there should be in-room coffee makers, not teabag type things. I ended up paying for coffee in the lobby. Also the shower took a long time to warm up and the heater didn't seem to work. However the view of the bay from the room made up for all that. And the grounds are amazing. We took several walks on trails and around the old buildings. We also have a wonderful dinner in the restaurant there. And we enjoyed the fire pit. So even though the room wasn't perfect (it was very clean and quiet) and the resort fee seemed unnecessary, we would still still there again, for sure."

"The hotel is so beautiful. All staff we encountered were friendly and welcoming. At checkin, Ben greeted us immediately with a smile. The next morning we enjoyed sitting in the lobby drinking coffee and chatting with the weekend desk clerk, I think her name was Soe. She too was wonderful. We enjoyed our entire stay and are planning to rerun."
