You could not be closer to the sea! Le Pescadou is located above a small beach. Located in the heart of a typical Marseille neighborhood, in a quiet street that leads to the beach, this small house opens onto a south-facing terrace, directly overlooking the sea. You will only have to go down one staircase to reach the beach. It's the ideal place to enjoy the sweetness of the Marseille life: beaches, hikes in the Calanques... This pretty little house of 40 m2 is located in a quiet street, above the beach. It is an old fisherman's cottage refurbished to offer you more comfort (air conditioning, internet). You will be charmed by its authenticity, its incredible sea view and the sound of the waves. You enter the main room composed of a living room, a dining table and an open kitchen. On your left, a bathroom with bathtub. At the back of the house, the sleeping area with a bedroom with a double bed and a large closet offering plenty of storage space. Important to note: The house is located on a common area shared by 3 houses. To access it, you have to pass in front of the neighboring house. Everyone can enjoy the space in front of his house. The cottage is fully equipped to make you feel at home: air conditioning / WiFi / washing machine / dishwasher / bathtub / cot... We know that small improvements are to be expected (painting in particular), that's why the price is low for such a unique place. Geographic location: By staying at Le Pescadou, you make the choice to spend your vacation above the water, in a typical neighborhood of the 2nd largest city in France. Going up the street on your right, you will have the road leading you to the district of Goudes and Callelongue (long calanque). By going out on the left, you will join the city center while passing by the beaches of the "Bain des Dames", the beach of "Pointe Rouge" and its restaurants close to the sea. By leaving towards the top of the street, you will join the massif of Marseilleveyre and the Pastré countryside and its famous Rolland cave. A typical and sought-after neighborhood for its quality of life, wedged between the city, the sea and the countryside/mountain. At only 100 meters, you will find bakery, fish shop (fresh fish from the small port that you see from your terrace), small casino, butcher shop and gym... the entrance to the Calanques, a paradise! Transportation : \_ The Bus line N°19 passes at the top of the street and will allow you to join the city center. \_The bus boat open from the end of April to the end of September will allow you to join the old port by the sea (line of the "Pointe Rouge" towards the "Vieux Port"). \_ The parking in the streets around is free without time limit. \_ The Saint Charles train station is 45 minutes away by bus N°19 + Metro Line 2 \_ The airport is accessible via shuttle to the Saint Charles train station, but we advise you to use cabs or Uber drivers. The Cocoonr service: You will be welcomed on site in a personalized way by a person of the Cocoonr Marseille agency who will show you the accommodation, will answer your questions and will give you the keys. Sheets and towels of hotel quality (4/5 stars) are provided, your bed will be made on your arrival. Towels and bath mats are also provided. Access to Marseille easy with bus and water taxi service, however. Beach just under the property is delightful but crowded. Great for a morning swim. Awesome views - the real "cabanon" experience. Property as advertised and clean, however there were a few maintenance issues (kitchen overhead light didn't work, outside patio not swept, no hooks to hang clothes or towels in bedroom or bathroom, missing toilet paper holder, no plugs or bedside lamp on left side of bed, some minor holes in the walls, for example). Kitchen well equipped. WiFi worked fine. Good communication with property manager. Overall would recommend - but understand this is a cabanon in Marseille, not a 5 star hotel! Dazu kommen gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Hauptstraße in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sehr gut auch die Restaurants im Nachbarort. Die Unterkunft ist einfach eingerichtet. Der kleine Supermarkt war leider wegen Renovierungsarbeiten geschlossen. Restaurants gibt es leider kaum in der Nähe, aber das läd zu wunderschönen Spaziergängen ein. Der Strand ist klein und schön. Viele Einheimische. Das einzige was einem klar sein sollte ist, dass man zum Appartement nur kommt wenn man über die Terrasse des Nachbarn läuft und das die angrenzende Appartements (2 stück) auf der anderen Seite entsprechend bei einem selber über die Terrasse laufen. Es sind insgesamt 4 Wohneinheiten die in einer Reihe liegend über einen Zugang zur Strasse verfügen. Uns hat das nichts ausgemacht. Deshalb auf 5 sterne :) Wir kommen wieder.! Es gab ein stromausfall in der Strasse. Die Agentur hat sich kommunikativ sehr bemüht. Der Schaden wurde behoben und wir bekamen eine kleine Gutschrift als Entschädigung ohne das wir dies verlangt hätten. Vielen Dank!" ##### Agence C.
