We got in late and the kitchen was closed but they opened it so we could get something to eat and drink. Very friendly with good english

Staff was very nice and helpful. Pool was pretty but needed a good clean. I thought the hotel was in the heart of La Ciotat but u fortunately it is in a random area and we were not near enough to anything to walk. Views not great and only a few free parking spaces.

Damn good breakfast. Room - clean and efficient.
Hotel room is clean and efficient. Easy access to highway and offices around. Corridor leading to room smelled a bit of cigarettes. The bed seemed a bit funny, but turned out to be very comfortable. The bathroom is a bit on the small side, but it's not too small and workable. The breakfast is a real winner, and has surprisingly rich selection, with fresh and wonderful baked goods. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, good stay on a budget.

It’s a nice minimalist style room, only lacking a bit of hanging space for towels and wet clothes, but otherwise fine. Extremely comfortable quality beds. Good breakfast for a fair price as well. However, the location is very remote with no dining or drinking options in walking distance.

Anthony is an exceptional host. The room was very nice. However, the bathroom fan did not work and we received several insect bites while sleeping. The good: Room was clean and free of smoke, pet and perfume odors. The breakfast was very good with sufficient separation of gluten foods from sans gluten.

Excellent value if booked in advance
I stay in this hotel frequently as it’s good in many ways . The rooms and beds are comfortable compared to some others I have stayed in locally on business . The only let down is the restaurant service . The staff have that knack of not seeing you ? I waited 15 minutes for a menu , got up and walked to the till and ordered , and the salad with a piece of grilled salmon eventually arrived 30 minutes later . It had to be sent back twice to be cooked through , No drinks were offered for ages , and nothin offered off the bill , until I suggested my coffee and dessert should be removed which was done with out hesitation. I think the restaurant staff on every visit have let the side down probably as there are Not enough waitresses . It changes as soon as the manager comes back in, Mopping the floor with bleach at the end of the night when you are still eating was not so good . It’s always popular and busy , The room rate varies by 100% or more if you forget to book in advance . Not a great location , but there is outside space. A pool , alfresco dining. The reception staff try hard and are very welcoming . The rooms are large for the price and fresh modern and spotless . My best rate was achieved by combining my flight and car hire with the hotel booking using EXPEDIA . To book all as a package . Easy to find just off the motorway . Good business hotel

Decent hotel in an industrial zone up in the hills. Nice view of the harbor. Very convenient if you have business in the area. Liked the Courtepaille Grill restaurant

Well located for business purposes and yet close enough to the coast, about 20 min walk. Food was good at the restaurant. Nice to have a pool

Nice but a bit isolated
The room is a bit basic but ok. It is in a bit isolated position and if you do not have a car the taxi to reach the city center costs 20 Euro. The hotel's restaurant is ok. The breakfast is nice.

Great Hotel
Although this hotel is kind of out the way, it is a real gem. Clean, friendly and helpful staff, restaurant food is good, breakfast is great, you can see the ocean from the patio, swimming pool is great. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel for everyone.

Great hotel, great staff
Stayed for 2 nights while attending the football. Lovely quiet location away from the masses. 1hr walk to La Ciotat harbour but worth the walk. Stunning seafront with more than enough bars and restaurants to choose from.

Good Ibis but some way from the centre.
Nice hotel with good breakfast terrace. However upon checking in I was required to put a €50 deposit on my card. This has still not been released, despite my paying the bill in full. There is a form they can send to the card issuer to release the charge,but they didn't do it. I have to wait 3 weeks the deposit to be refunded to my FairFx card. The hotel could have been more helpful in resolving this problem.

As expected
We stayed here for one night in June. We booked this hotel as it was the best option available near Cassis. The hotel is situated in an industrial area with not many landmarks or restaurants nearby (there is a restaurant next door to the hotel for all meals) but I knew this at the time of booking. The rooms were what you would expect from an Ibis hotel - clean and hotel but not many luxuries. A good hotel option if you are looking to stay somewhere for a night but not in the heart of the action.

Unremarkable but price correct
Avoid the room(s) right next to the elevator. It is very noisy. Be aware that many rooms are for smokers. That's why my sea view room was changed to the noisy one. Fortunately the staff were able to give me a different room. All fine in end though and good breakfast.

A comfortable stay at the Ibis La Ciotat. The room was basic but had everything I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. There was a good range of food on offer in the restaurant for dinner. Continental breakfast was adequate. Staff were friendly. Would stay here again.

Good surprise
The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and quiet, the whole experience was very pleasant. Even though we checked in very late at night (4:00 am) the reception staff was extremely pleasant. Same thing in the morning when we had a 'late' breakfast at the hotel bar - great, friendly service. The hotel is a bit far from restaurants, shops, etc. but the quality of the service, the comfort of the rooms, and the great sea view make it a very pleasant place to stay.

Best ibis
The best Ibis my husband and I have stayed in but the location was not so great as we it was too far to walk into town so we had to use the car. But that wouldn't prevent us from returning.
