The owners were amazing, with a small issue that came up (nothing that they could control) they immediately had someone on site to take care of it without interrupting our stay and communicated with us through the whole thing. This is definately owned by people who want the best for their guests and take care of them like family. If you are debating on a few places this is definately the place to stay. It was one of our best vacations together. From the gorgeous views, to the hot tub, to the cozy fireplaces, to the spacious game room- everyone had plenty of space and we spent almost every night playing games or watching football. We even drove into Asheville to see a movie and stopped at the Twisted Laurel for dinner- highly recommend. It was very clean and well maintained, with plenty of activities for our teenage kids, and was well stocked for cooking and preparing meals. The cabin was also off on its own at the end of a dead end road, so there was plenty of privacy and amazing views. The property managers we very responsive with communication. 4-wheel drive vehicles are a must if your going in the winter. The roads to get there are steep and narrow, with some hairpin turns. We got a light snow, and the roads were very slick for a short period of time until they got them cleared and salted. They were very good at getting them cleared, though. ##### Chris R. She allowed us to book with short notice and even gave us the chance to check in early. The view from the cabin was amazing as it overlooks the gorgeous mountains. Our family enjoyed all the amenities especially the pool table and hot tub. The master bathroom was beautiful and kitchen was perfect and well equipped. We can’t say enough about the cabin. The only thing I would advise other travelers is when you first arrive, try to get to the cabin before sunset (i.e. check in on time) because on the first ascent up the mountain, the turns can be a little tricky to navigate in the dark.
