Year-round hot tub with Lake Superior views

Wake up each morning to an incredible sunrise view over Lake Superior. This hilltop house offers a sparkling and unobstructed view that spans the south shore beaches all the way to Marquette’s monolithic oar dock. These spectacular views of the Lower Harbor region can be enjoyed from within the house as well as from the deck situated above a fenced in back yard. The deck-top hot tub is operational year-round, and is the perfect place to watch 4th of July fireworks, the first snowfall, and everything in between.

A quick drive or 10 minute stroll will land you in the heart of Marquette as this house sits at an ideal launch point to the downtown and Lower Harbor areas. Directly in view is the Founder's Landing portion of our highly acclaimed lakeside bike path, which stretches for miles between nationally ranked mountain biking trails on one end and the famed Black Rocks of Presque Isle Park on the other. Even during busy festivals and events you will have easy access to multiple entry points for all Marquette has to offer.

This bright and open Victorian house offers high ceilings, hardwood floors and original woodwork throughout. Features like an oversized pocket door and the kitchen's tin ceiling stand as reminders that this house was built in 1900. The upper level of the house has a full bath and three bedrooms, each with a full or queen bed made up with high quality dressings and featuring considerable closet and dresser space. The lower level offers all of the amenities of home with plenty of seating in the dining area and living room and a half bath tucked behind the laundry. The fully stocked kitchen will serve your needs whether you want to host a dinner party or simply plate up some take out from one of our local restaurants. The antique aesthetic and modern touches of this house blend to create a setting that combines comfort and style. Whether you are coming to rest, swim, ride, surf, ski, climb, tour, dogsled, hike, explore, visit family, work, or lay on the beach, this house will serve as the perfect platform for your stay.

Pets welcome! Pet fee is $50 per stay.

Spring weekend
We LOVED this property. We frequent Marquette often because we have a child at NMU and this house, by far, was our favorite place. It is in a great location for visiting the downtown area and NMU. The view was amazing. The house was clean. Amy was so nice making sure we had everything we needed. We also loved the enclosed backyard for our dog. We hope to stay again in the future!

Perfect getaway!
Beautiful home, great location, and everything we needed was there! Fenced in yard & blankets for the furbabies was an added bonus. Being able to watch the sun come up over Lake Superior while sipping hot coffee in the hot tub...the best! Thank you!

Nice Stay
We enjoyed this house. It was a clean and beautiful old home. The location was ideal. We could walk downtown and see the lake from our windows. The communication with the property manager was clear and concise and not too frequent.

Perfect Winter Getaway to visit our Husky
We met our son, Mich Tech student, here. We are from the LP. This home is perfectly located in the heart of Marquette and makes for a close getaway for our son who lives in Houghton. The residential area is cute for walking (we brought our dog) and close to restaurants and shops. We had beautiful views of the sunrise over Lake Superior every morning. We enjoyed a soak in the hot tub on a cold winter day. The fenced in backyard was perfect for our dog to run around. Everything was neat and clean inside with all amenities needed. The beds were very comfortable. We all slept very well. Our host even left us a gift card to a fabulous coffee shop in town. We recommend Iron Bay Restaurant (always a fave), Third Coast Pizza (more than just pizza), Huron Bakery, Michigan Made Store and Contrast Coffee. This was our 2nd stay here and we will stay here again! Thank you for a great stay!

Second visit
This was the second year in a row we visited Marquette for a ski weekend and stayed at the same property. We loved the house and its location relative to Marquette Mountain and loved using the hot tub after a couple long days. He had a little trouble with the electric door lock, but Amy was able to resolve it pretty quickly.
