Downtown Cottage/Harbor Cottage - This charming town cottage provides a bright, one-floor, Air Conditioned, accommodation. Two guest bedrooms with luxurious beds and bedding to assure a good nights sleep! One double size and one day bed with pull out trundle, will sleep up to 4 guests comfortably. Fully equipped kitchen with a Lake Superior view, dish washer, beautiful dinner ware, dining area, a cozy living room with comfortable furnishings. Walk to Bayshore Park and enjoy the beach and water, watch the boats, shop the farmer's market for fresh produce and baked breads for your meals or enjoy the pizza made to order by the local ladies, in the wood fired oven. The Falling Rock cafe is just a block away for fresh coffee, hand dipped ice cream, friendship, old books and local entertainment. Munising is full of local artists who display their talents all around town during the summer. Amenities include TV with satellite, wifi internet service, gas grill, A/C

The cottage will be immaculately clean upon your arrival. The cottage has a 'Pottery Barn-like style, with its' tasteful furnishings and interior decorations, which makes it irresistably inviting.

We have limited parking here. We can park two vehicles max, no trailers or snowmobiles.

Absolutely love this Cottage!!!
We had a wonderful stay in your cute cozy cottage. Everything was immaculate and very nicely decorated. We had everything we needed and loved the location . Lisa is excellent, she stayed in contact from the time of booking to checkout, often checking in to see if we needed anything. We would absolutely stay here again!

Cleanliness prevails. Absolutely clean throughout. Everything that 2 humans & their canine need. Location is ideal. Can easily walk to food, beverage, & local historical venues. Safe, quiet, and comfortable even though located on main thoroughfare. Highly recommend.

Perfectly Sweet Cottage
This cottage was perfect for my 3 generation girl trip (teenage daughter, myself, and my mom). The cottage itself was adorable. Bright, cozy, and enough space for all of us. Everything was immaculate, and the linens/dishes were brand new. We used the kitchen well, cooking dinner a few nights. While the location was a 3 minute walk to town, the outdoor space still seemed private being set back from the road. The view out the kitchen window of the lake was a bonus. I honestly cannot say enough about this property. I even told my mom I could live here full-time.

The property was small but clean and had everything you needed. Our only issue was lack of shades on most windows. It made it difficult to rest during the long days of summer, and made it feel like a lack of privacy in kitchen.

Downtown Munising cottage
I booked for 6 nights May 3-9 2023 for my first trip to the UP. The cottage was clean and tidy and much as described in the listing. It is next to a larger house owned by the same people and there is a shared backyard with a shared grill, not that the weather in first week of May was conducive to spending time outdoors grilling as there had been a big snowstorm on May 1. The reason I did not give 5 stars is that, despite comfortable double bed in the main bedroom, the gas heating was not a typical HVAC ducted system but a furnace in the living area with a directed fan to living room and kitchen which was pretty loud. After the first two nights, I got used to the noise. The owners specifically requested in the house rules not to use the electrical baseboard heaters. I would have preferred to have the electric heating included in the cost rather than lose sleep over the noise of the quirky old gas heater. Would I stay again - in warmer weather without their gas heating, yes.

Perfect location to experience the UP in the winter.
The cottage was perfect for my husband and I. It was clean and had all the amenities needed for a 4 night stay. (For us, any longer we would want to have a washer and dryer). The location is ideal for going to see/do the many things the UP has to offer… snow shoeing, ice caves, dog sledding, the falls, and snow mobiling. I highly recommend staying here!
