"The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only issue I had was there was one little tiny garbage can. I guess there was one other thing too, I was there for eight days, and there was only a rod for hanging all of my wife’s and my clothes on. There was no dresser, no closet or anything like that. Other than that, I have zero complaints. They’ll see Mike pretty simple things to fix. Even if they had a bigger rod to hang your clothes on."

"We chose Bridges House for its location, which truly was the highlight of our stay. After check-in, we were directed to a studio apartment on the next street over, facing one of the canals- a lovely setting in theory. The apartment itself, however, didn’t meet expectations. The cleanliness and overall functionality felt lacking, and it was not cozy whatsoever. The space is spread across three levels- the kitchen and toilet on the bottom floor, living area in the middle, and bedroom at the top- which made it feel disjointed and inconvenient to move between spaces. The couches were also boxy and uncomfortable, making it hard to relax. While we appreciated the spacious bathroom, the layout meant walking through the kitchen and living area after showering to get to the bedroom and our belongings. We also paid to store our luggage after checkout, which was helpful, but when we returned, it appeared to be left unattended in the open lobby, which didn’t feel very secure. We were initially drawn to this hotel because of its history as an old artist’s house, but since our accommodation was located off-site, that aspect didn’t feel relevant to our stay. It would have been helpful to know this in advance. We would absolutely recommend visiting Delft—it’s a charming and beautiful town—but we would not list this hotel as a must-stay."

"Great location. Friendly staff, but not there later in the day. A bit concerned about security. No one is at the front desk and someone could follow a guest in. There were no chains in the door. Huge room. No extra blankets. "

"This was a last minute family booking and what a great choice! Decoration was a bit quirky but the kids loved it and the hidden bunk beds made it fun for them. Breakfast in Gaia was excellent, nice and fresh. The chef remembered the kids on day 2 and came over with a little pot of chocolate for their pancakes, which was so nice. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. I’d come back if ever in Delft as perfectly located for the city."
