"The staff was great. Check in was fast and easy. The bathroom had a couple of dirty spots on the wall and the tub drain was nasty. The rest of the room was clean. Our balcony was TINY! All the other balconies were large with a much better view of the harbor than what we had."

"The staff was super friendly and helpful, they let me borrow a hair dryer and they always said hello when I entered the building. The water pressure in this hotel is on another level, amazing shower. The hotel is literally a two minute walk from Main Street, super walkable. Had a great stay, will be back!"
Oceanview Bungalow Style Home in Owls Head

"We absolutely loved our stay in the Oceanview Bungalow. The overflowing flower bushes surrounding the beautifully appointed home and watching the sun rise over the ocean's horizon from the upstairs balcony while sipping a cup of coffee each morning were special highlights of my stay. The huge inventory of flour, sugar, oil, and spices were a nice plus. My husband and two rather picky twenty somethings gave it a huge thumbs-up and would definitely come again. I sincerely hope we do!"

"The room was huge and had a gorgeous sitting area with amazing beach views!!! The pool area was spacious with plenty of seating and well landscaped. We enjoyed walking the ocean path too. Close to great restaurants like Ports of Italy. Plenty of shops as well as Mt Battie and some lighthouses."

"What a beautiful location. We would love to have stayed another couple of nights just to unplug and enjoy the tranquility. The breakfast was wonderful, I had a blueberry waffle and my husband had a breakfast burrito. Being a 200 year old building, our room had slanted floors which made the head of the bead lower than the feet, even though we noticed it was already shimmed up a bit. Plus you need to be ready and willing to lug your luggage up to the 3rd floor (no issues for us but some might want to request a no stairs option). Otherwise a lovely experience. The fire pit outside with blankets provided was really inviting. Lobster boats really do come in at about 4:30am so you’ll hear them. We loved the authentic experience!"
