"Jill’s property was peaceful and quiet. We loved our stay. We absolutely loved, Dexter, the donkey and Willow and Marley, the cats. We had a very nice stay. I would not recommend counting the futon as a sleeping option. The bed in the master room was very comfortable, as well as the bed upstairs. Jill was excellent with communication and everything was well written out for check in and check out."

Peaceful Country Home

Peaceful Country Home

8/10 Good
"Beautiful updated clean place inside and probably the best stocked place we have been to as far as amenities. Loved the private pond to fish in, which we caught crappie, bass, and bluegill. Host provided paddleboat which was awesome too. We did not meet the hosts as we were happy with the place as a whole. In the 40's couple nights during our stay, so tried fireplace but gas shut off to it since told, after we booked, seasonal. Also, did not bring own hair blowdryer and one provided didn't work which host appreciated knowing and would remedy that. Went to several restaurants and enjoyed the local area. Our stay was very peaceful and we loved the privacy. We went during harvest and they were combining next to us so was at times very dusty...understandable. Outside, typical seasonal bugs and dirt. Shocked however, after our stay, we were told strong cigarette smoke sensed and they would be checking into additional cleaning fees. We don't smoke. As veteran vrbo users, it is best to take pics of all or any damage when arriving as well, even the cigarette stain blemish on the tub. All said, it was what we were looking for on short notice and a beautiful getaway."
