"One of the best places I have ever stayed at just because of the people behind the counter. They just made you feel good and welcomed. The property was clean and the breakfast was delicious and the staff was very hands on making sure the food stayed fresh with eggs, sausage, biscuit, gravy, waffles, and more. It was a fun place to stay. "

"I loved the tent. It was my first time glamping! It was clean, comfortable, relaxing and the beds are so comfortable! The bathrooms have showers though I wish they were a little cleaner. It’s probably moreso other guests leaving a little mess here and there. Receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave me all the information I needed through the phone and well as through text. I had to leave early the next morning but I exited the tent and was surrounded by baby bunnies everywhere outside! I would definitely stay here again. "

"The room was clean. And was exactly what we expected based on the photos. The service was where I was most impressed. I forgot my apple watch in the room. I called while on the road from Yosemite to Sequoia NP and Christine took the time to personally check the room for my watch. Not once but twice when I called back to see if she checked some specific areas. She actually found my watch and is shipping it back to me! Thank you so much Christine! You sure made my day!❤️"

"It’s an older motel but well kept for its age. Clerk was extremely friendly. Grounds were very well kept. Beds were comfortable. Lots of places to walk to to eat or get ice cream. Very cute town. Would stay again."

"Staff was low so breakfast wasn’t available but coffee, teas, and juices were all day. Staff was kind and very helpful. Area was charming around hotel and great place to come back to after Yosemite. Hotel is in the middle of some maintenance projects but overall a quaint and quiet place to stay. Water pressure was amazing!"

"Check-in was super easy and efficient. Every single front desk staff member we met was so kind and helpful. There’s a nice outdoor hot tub and pool, washer / dryer ($2 wash, $2.50 dry)—the front desk can exchange cash for quarters. We stayed here while doing Yosemite NP, it’s a bit of a drive (~1 hour) but not bad at all. "

"The butterfly apartment was indeed exceptional! Very clean and well cared for and as good a location as can be expected if you’re not in the park. Nice extra touches include portable a/c units in every room (a portable heater for main room for winter), both DIRECTV sat tv and streaming smart tv, and an Avalon water system that spits out filtered hot, cool, or cold water. The WiFi worked well. Furniture was comfy for hanging out. Nice quiet area just past a small town hospital. Nearby Pioneer Market was a full service supermarket and had a food truck with delicious authentic Mexican food (lengua yum!!!!). It was a perfect home base for our Yosemite visit. Thanks, Irene!"
