My family enjoyed our stay at the Marion farmhouse. It was a clean and comfortable place with lovely grounds. Owners were very easy to work with and highly supportive, while respective our autonomy. Highly recommended!
It’s a wonderful old farm house with lots of character and is very room with lots of private surrounding land. Perfect spot for us to visit family. We’ve stayed there multiple times and will be back again I’m sure.

Love love love! Perfect for large family holiday gathering. Plenty of space and indoor/outdoor entertaining options. Owner communication excellent- tour of property available. Will book again.
Place was great for our needs. Had all the essentials and close to everything. The host was great and checked in regularly to ensure we had no issues. Really enjoyed the yard and quiet neighborhood. Will stay again if in the area.
Lots of space inside and outside. Quiet, relaxing nice front porch. Communication with host was awesome. We only used 1 bedroom but the king bed was very comfortable. Would stay again.
The house was amazing. Clean, comfortable beds, everything you need was there. So relaxing for our girls weekend. Close to shopping and food but relaxing like being in the country sitting on the porch with a coffee and a good book.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful old farmhouse. The house was exceptionally clean. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. There was lots of land to walk our dogs and the very large fenced in area for an off leash romp was a bonus.
There were six adults in our party, and we had plenty of room to spread out. It was a great stay!
This is an excellent place to stay for those family gatherings - Loads of room to spread out - inside and outside. The house is gorgeous with so much charm, it’s clean and updated with everything you might need. There is an awesome fenced in area for your dog to run jump and play. Hands down one of our favorites. We hope to stay here again!!
We needed a place for a large family gathering after Thanksgiving Day dinner. This was perfect. We could spread out, have time to nap, room for the little ones to run around, fire place was perfect! Everyone had plenty of room. If the weather would have been warmer we could have enjoyed the day outside more but that’s November in Iowa😄
This house was built in 1910. It is gorgeous inside with much of the original woodwork and oak floors and is furnished with beautiful pieces from that era. Even though this property is within city limits, we felt like we were staying in the country. Our host, John, was very kind and accommodating and easy to reach if we had questions. We would definitely stay here again
We had our annual family gathering at this property. It was a great experience for all. We made use of the "Stable" for our meals and gathering times. Very nice. We had 27 for our Thanksgiving meal and there was plenty of room. The house is very well furnished. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen met our needs. I highly recommend this property for your next stay.
We wanted a place that could accommodate our family of 5 with their significant others. This Victorian beauty has so much charm! It gave us ample space to hang out as a family. We utilized the formal parlor to have a cup of coffee and visit. We enjoyed the informal family room to watch tv. Beds were super comfy in all the rooms. Check in and check out was so easy! We hope to stay here again!
We were reunited with our foreign exchange student from 3 years ago! It was a very special time. The house worked out great for us. The location was good. And what was very helpful was all the extras that were provided. Tue kitchen was well stocked as was the laundry facilities! And the porch was fantastic! We would stay again!
Clean with comfortable beds. Hosts seemed accessible and easygoing. Loved the deer on the property, the quiet, the ambience, and the accessibility to everything we needed. My only complaint was that the house was only at 57 degrees when we arrived and, as old houses do, needed several hours to warm up.
The home is very nice, clean and spacious. They have done a great job turning an early 1900’s home into an enjoyable place to stay with everything that you may need. We had 8 total guests, and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hang out. Highly recommend the home, and John was very responsive to any questions that we had. Thank you!!!
Great memories were made at this charming farm house.
We enjoy the home very much, lots of room to spread out and enjoy. All of the China dishes we fun to see. We all had fun playing games in the beautiful yard. We loved the fairy garden.
I microwave was not used, quite dirty inside.
My sisters, mom, and I picked this two-story home for our annual weekend getaway. It had plenty of room for all six of us to play games at the dining table and catch up in the comfortable fireplace room. The eat-in kitchen was big enough for several of us to cook without missing the conversation at the kitchen table. When we didn’t feel like cooking, it was just a five-minute drive to downtown Marion.
Too bad it was so cold, or we would have sat outside on the huge porch or taken advantage of the huge fire pit. We would definitely book this property again.
